I would be interested to know where you acquired this video tape performance since it is a rough cut I did of this show which Skaggs never gave us permission to air and the only tape ever released by KET was this rough cut for Skagg's approval, which we never got. You may PM me if you wish.

@@BlueBanjoGrass it was made by a guy named Clark Damron. I played it for 10 years got a divorce abs sold it to settle with my ex. Rhonda Vincent owns it now and I’ve begged her to buy it back but to no avail.

Bluegrass IS traditional music because classic bluegrass is all from prior traditional folk music, fiddle tunes, classical ragtime and jazz.

Pre-war? What are they talking about, the Korean war? Seems odd to carry-on about how traditional a banjo sounds while everybody tries to emulate the way the same guy from the late 1940s played. If anything, "traditional banjo" describes the previous 150 years of the instrument. Bluegrass is its own thing, and that's fine, but it ain't traditional music. I mean maybe in it's own right but it ain't American traditional music.

Just watched him at 7yrs. Ruby. Loads of movement rhythm and meaning in bluegrass music. Heard it for the first time at Greenbelt Christian Festival. Skilful fun music. If I go to the US it will be Tennessee. Hi to everyone there.

John Cowan is a pure thoroughbred stud ! Saw NGR twice in ‘89 Bass Mountain and Tampa fairgrounds and they thoroughly brought the house down both shows ! No band has captured the sound or feel this group put out there since ! Sweet memories and they encouraged a generation to move the needle !

These sound amazing, Huber makes great banjos, but saying their " scary " isnt a good choice of words, fabulous and amazing is a good choice.
