This made me cry, the moral of the story is crushing and devastating for everyone who has ever been a selfish coward without even knowing it before it was too late. Nevermore! When you get a chance to stop evil in the form of a bully or rival, supposed to be friend, boss, co worker, lover, whatever, don’t let it slide if they give you the power to defeat them by continuing their reign of terror because no one else ever stood up to them. You don’t have to use violence just your mind and your heart of lion! And once they feel the agony of defeat for the first time, they will actually be humbled and become better humans than they were before! It has been surmised that these two (10 pagers) were to appear in "Amazing Adult Fantasy" as short subjects until it's demise and the decision to give "The Amazing Spider-Man" his own book. It is just my opinion only, but I think that Steve Ditko was more capable of drawing other Marvel characters than Jack Kirby was capable of drawing Spider-Man. Kirby never got the webbing on the arms right and always gave Spidey a brutish appearance without a hint of agility (except when Ditko inked him). I don't remember what issue it was but the first time Spider-Man was considered for membership in the Avengers, Ditko was called upon to deliniate the webbing over (Don Heck's, I think) drawing. Ah, those were the days.

I love how in the first official spiderman issue he breaks into the Baxter building and beats the shit outta the fantastic four essentially for money lmao. Gave us an immediate taste of how strong he is even though the fantastic four were obviously not going full strength
