I thought this was very interesting, but I found that the character level power changed quite substantially at a certain level. For example, I'm playing a Plagueherald, and I'm not feeling all that powerful at L4. My previous Cragheart character was running pretty well even at L5. I wouldn't mind seeing a video that separated the Tier list into Levels 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9, or something like that. Maybe even 1-5 vs. 6-9 (early and later levels).

No need to worry... those who are buying it instead of doing the dungeon wont know how to use it or any other rotation for that matter... so skill gap will always be there.. Also, use where?? do you think people who are afraid of dungeons will ever step foot on a raid?? they wont use it anywhere.. maybe use it when getting carried in a GM by 2 randoms.. 🤣

I mean, I kinda get why it rubs some the wrong way. If everyone has it, it doesn’t feel very special. It also feels shitty when you spent so much time grinding, only to find out it was meaningless. And yet, it’ll be great to know that everyone on your fireteam can DPS. Personally I’ve only run the dungeon a handful of times, so I’ll be picking up the God Roll when it releases.

@neuralnetgames6540 I spent all day on this build and I just laughed at how insanely brilliant this build is. I switched to seismic strike cause I suck with ballistic slam. But honestly you don't need the powered melee as much. For me my problem is weapon compatibility, getting health back, and more open ranged maps.

The summoner has been so far one of my favorite characters, and it can be very powerful if you know how to play her well... I usually use items to recover cards so I can always get the 13 iniciative card back that allows you to move 5 with jump... I use potions to get that card back, and the talismán to get that potion back and get the card again and again... That plus resting allows you to replay that card Pretty much every turn if you want to... I also add the speed boots so I can even get to imiciative 3 if needed. ... The way i can be sure that My summons can attack before monsters if I need to, or if course I can go late if needed... I also add items that create more summons, so I can easily get even 3 extra summons just with the items... All of that allows you to always have a lot of summons all the time, go extremely early or late depending of what you need, and Pretty much imposible to kill, since all the summons are going to get hit before the summoner... It can be extremely powerful if played well ❤

I like running with Ricochet because it's good for getting +2 range on the second attack, or for shooting around walls by hitting bouncing a shot toward a target I can't see, especially if I want to dish out Wound on a boss from far enough away that they start ticking before they get to do anything. It's also good for cleaning up a couple of weak enemies in almost any configuration on the board, or hitting an enemy at melee range by bouncing off a ranged target (and stunning either one with the hammer). Combo with Fancy Hat and/or Goggles for bigger damage. Hat + Favorite is a repeatable Attack 6,3 on two targets and I can set up either one for a Follow Through finisher. By comparison, Repeat Shot is basically Follow Through but with 1 more strength and 1 less range, and the extra range on FT is handy if I've just lodged my Favorite in a range 5 opponent with Ricochet. I also feel like I have better things to do with my loss cards than a big attack that prevents me from moving when movement is critical. I'm happy waiting around until later levels to get a bottom attack that's weaker but repeatable and does not prevent movement. I like the feel of playing Hatchet like a tactical trick-shot master as much as a big-damage butcher ("smart brute" is a very fun archetype) and Ricochet just feels so satisfying when I get to do something clever with it.

Great guide and video, congratz. So I have a question, why 2 turns disarmed? I read in the manual "at the end of the next turn" not at the end of the next round, so if the monster haven't attacked yet when you disarmed it, its next turn is at the same round after you, so after its next turn you have to retire the disarmed token... or amb I wrong?

My friend and I recently started playing Scythe, one important thing that (in my opinion must be added) is that players should watch for combat, if not careful players can get very very easily 2 stars from combat and end the game very fast. If we (all of the players on the board) play the game more passively some of them can reach 3 even 4 stars very fast, and then in next few turns combat could end the game immediately.

There is one disadvantage with playing a loss card early that you didn't touch upon: You get less cards to choose from for the rest of the scenario. This loss of option value is significant and should sway you to burn cards early less often than if you did not take this into consideration. However, of course I agree it can still be worth to play the loss early in the right circumstance.

I'm not sure why you say that Delaying 4 damage is bad.. When you know that you cannot reach an enemy this turn, you can buff yourself for the next time, so you don't lose any damage output

advantage: pick the card you like Naturally there is a rule how to handle advantage that is relevant for monster/allies, but when you have advantage then it does not make sense to not simply pick whatever you like.

Empathetic assault is great. Solid initiative quite a useful oneshot on the top. But the best part is the bottom. Heal self is handy, move 2 is very often is just enought. So it can be used just for moving around. This card starts to shine then you enhance heal with blessing option. The Rat can decrease modifier deck to only 12 cards, with additional two +1 damage redraw cards. So blessings would have much higher chances to proc. Even with damage 1 attack you will do 6-8 damage on x2 from blessing, up to 10 with posion on target. This greatly synergies with Brain leech bottom action.

As i understand, currative aerosol is four actions so it consumes two charges of potent potables. Update: checked the rules, your statement is correct.
