Thanks. Unfortunately I know this story as well. From the other perspective. And learned it young, via Zinn. That book is rising in relevance. And it’ll Lead people here. That is enough, for now. Or, as much as I can handle, before much more healing. Thanks.

You are a great teacher, I appreciate your work here, and learned a lot from these 4 videos. With all the love in my heart, I am so deeply sorry for the trauma inflicted on your family and people.

The trauma is also yours & ours, not just “theirs”. If you live on a different island, it is almost certain these same stories echo there. As they are the story of humanity itself.

I watched all 4 and took notes so that I remember how to teach this to my children, grandchildren, and whoever else will listen. Thank you for such a well-researched and simple to understand presentation that tells it like it was and is and why. "The 'what' informs; the 'why' transforms." May your efforts to share truth continue to transform your people and ALL people into ONE people!

This 4 part series on the history of Turtle Island is Excellent!!! It's the much needed "rest of the story" of our history that has never been taught that increases our understanding and ownership of our part in why the Indigenous Peoples of this land are struggling to once again blossom and thrive as their ancestors. Miigwetch!!

Wow , so nice to see you here , my friend . I've always wanted to go to Australia -- and hopefully someday i will . I especially want to visit the ABORIGINE SACRED PLACES . ... btw , have you ever seen this movie from the late 1970s with actor Richard Chamberlain called ... i can't recall if it's either titled THE LAST WAVE or THE 5TH WAVE ? -- but it was filmed in AUSTRALIA it's a riveting story where he's an attorney representing and defending some Aborigines in the city who get into trouble and then some unusual and rather paranormal events happen -- THEN THE HEAVY RAINS come AND THE RAIN DOESN'T STOP . I watched it again here on the tube this past year i hope it's still here for you to watch and share with others as it really is a GREAT FILM ( but some WON'T want to watch it -- they'll think IT'S TOO SLOW -- no cars flying up in the air or massive explos -- ions . ) 😂

Where is this family name clan system chart ? Wiky? We were told because we don’t know our clan to join the Marten Clan but if this chart exists it would help. We are from the Corbiere and Neganegijig family line.

There is a Native Centre in Chigeen on the Island. Allan Corbiere created the chart. It was actually my wife that visited it. Hope that helps.

Seeing that Métis flag on the circle made my heart so happy. My family line is English/Ojibwe mixed and seeing the Ojibwe flag in the back and the Métis flag in the front, I couldn't help but smile. Beautiful that your sharing the story with your children and people who find this video!

The story is the same from one to the next. It is creation that tells the story differently when necessary to the listener. Nature is how the way is intended. In this way, there is balance. In times of the Great Awakening, there is turmoil and chaos when there are many who cannot bring themselves to trust others because of the history that hurt them. During the time that such is the case the stories shift according to the listener. “He who hath an ear let him hear. (If one can comprehend what is being said, the same is part of this flock-n-pack)” - .. as quoted in the book I personally recall from years ago.

I've been growing my hair two years, and have learned the old growth I started with on top (when I was still buzzing my sides) needs to be cut out little by bit, to let the healthy new hair grow through. I feel like my old hair on top is my old self, and the new undergrowth is who I am now. It is so much healthier, and a darker colour than my old hair on top. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you for sharing this. I first heard of this land as Turtle Island when I was a kid and I'm 49 and now a middle school teacher in this rural community. I'm so happy to hear the full story. As a Central PA person, it makes so much more sense to think of myself in God's universe, on Turtle Island and on these mountains than our seemingly artificial State and National borders.

Intergenerational trauma is mentioned in Exodus 20: 5-6 as a generational curse. Not to minimize the trauma of native people, but generational curses can hit all families. The residential schools and the kidnappings are beyond heart-breaking. The Good News is that God sent his only begotten son, Jesus, to pay for the debt of sin and heal the broken-hearted. He healed mine, praise the Father in Heaven. Catholicism is a pagan, godless religion, and the agent of all evil. Escape it as soon as you can.
@NYTruthseeker7 ай бұрын
The truth is indeed painful, and this presentation is important, well organized, and clear. Thank you for making it. The dishonor, abuses, and crimes against your people is the work of Satan. I learned a lot of this when I started to dig into studying the difference between Catholicism and true Christianity found in the King James Bible. I found your channel when researching Turtle Island as I think it may be the Promised Land of the KJB, and the native People or First nations people are the Lost Tribes of Israel... We are in Satan's Little Season, released to deceive the nations. The system of status and numbering people is biblical and one of enslavement for us all.

I like the way you told that story. The Wendat people refer to the pregnant mother and the tree that fell from the sky and in that version it's a little frog that gathers soil from the roots of the tree after it sank. I've read other versions too but they have the same elements and the same meanings. These stories should be taught in every school in Canada.
