I did not hear her say that metal bowls and utensils are not to be used in the mixing process, only use metal pans for the baking

Kind of Interesting. Concentrated Egg Nog. lol Just mix with milk?
@cookingwithnatalka
@cookingwithnatalka Ай бұрын
Yes, it's like a super-concentrated eggnog base! Just add milk to make it more like the eggnog you're used to. Although the egg whites in it give it a more frothy texture. I added some into my coffee this more, with a little extra milk and it was delicious!!

Glad you liked the video! I'm glad you are going to give it a try. I never thought I would try making my own eggnog, but here we are! I'm glad I did it and now I can learn from it and try changing it a bit...like not adding the egg whites and adding extra milk when making it.

I watch your KZbin video. Your KZbin video is really amazing. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzed your KZbin video channel and i found KZbin video SEO is not done. And your channel optimization is not done. And the keywords you used in the video have a lot of competition so your video doesn't rank first in the search list and doesn't reach your audience. Thank you

If you already have sourdough, is there a way to use it to make this?
@cookingwithnatalka
@cookingwithnatalka Ай бұрын
That is a fantastic question. I'm honestly not sure as I've never tried. I was given my starter but I don't see why not as they are very similar. Since you're only using 1 cup of started with the Friendship bread, I don't see why you couldn't substitute it for 1 cup of sourdough starter. That would be a really good experiment to see if it works and how it would turn out. Just remember this is not a bread that rises, it's similar to banana bread where you mix everything, put them in loaf pans and then bake them. I just may have to give it a try, I have some sourdough starter. Thanks for the question and inspiration!!

Don't forget to adjust for the altitude you are at. I beat with my mixer until the sheen goes dull. Turn it off when that happens and then start spooning it out with the two spoons. You'll get a larger batch beating them longer because you more air cincorporated into the candy.
@cookingwithnatalka
@cookingwithnatalka Ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the amazing suggestions. You are absolutely right about altitude!! Weather also affects these. I've tried making them on rainy days vs sunny days too. They don't always turn out. Beating them in the mixer is a fantastic idea. I will have to try that! Thank you again for your informative comment!

Why do you put pie in the fridge before adding the meringue?
@cookingwithnatalka
@cookingwithnatalka 2 ай бұрын
You put the pie in the fridge to give the filling time to set and cool. Meringue is finicky, the longer its in the fridge the quicker it shrinks and crystallizes and forms sticky water droplets. In my experience warm filling speeds up this issue. So I like to cool my pies first and add the meringue right before serving it.

Hello Dear, Cooking with Natalka, I hope you are well. I visited your KZbin Channel. Your content is Excellent. But your Channel is not growing, Because your Content title and Description are not SEO-friendly and do not have Enough Rank tags. This is why there is no Content Coming to the top of KZbin. As a result, your video SEO Score is very low. According to VidiQ, (your channel's video's SEO score is 0/ out of 100, which should be 80+). If you want, I can make it 80+ , which will help your channel grow faster. If you SEO your videos Properly then the Channel Progress will be very Fast & Subscribers and Views will Increase. If you want I can solve problems and help you rank your videos Better. If you are Interested Please Let me know.
