I live in South Florida, West Broward and I found some kind of large lizard in one of my outdoor plants. I spooked him and he jumped off and ran into another larger plant. I let him be. Just curious and wondering what kind it was. I thought maybe a Basilisk but it wasn't brown or green. It was large and a light color. It was making a noise when it was in the bush later in the evening. Like a chirping noise. He was about a foot long. Any idea what it could be?

I just found you on Google, I was looking for a jumping spider but I have a huge brand new lizard enclosure for a lizard who preferred staying in my yard (he is out there and I feed him outside) so his enclosure is open real estate. Now to see if it is even a good enough enclosure.
