Assuming you're totally upfront about it I think there should be no controversy about captive produced hybrid reptiles assuming the end result is healthy. I think the only issue with hybridization is when you breed it back into pure blood locality/species bloodlines and not telling people down the line. I wish hybrids were more common with snakes at the very least. I think you can make really cool animals.

Everybody needs to know not to get any plant crested gekos are very very allergic to tons of plants so look up what plants you can get for them
