Miami aint for me anymore even for an Americanized hispanic like myself that can barely speak spanish and got no fam out here. It's a whole third world city taken over by undocumented migrants predominantly from South and Central america and rich white american or eastern european folk who came here out of nowhere while the city keeps getting gentrified in lower and middle class neighborhoods that were once livable. Now there is no lower or middle class neighborhood, it's either highclass or costly housing in the hoods, THE FREAKIN HOOD like East Lil Havana, AP, Opa Locka, and so on..

I grew up in Miami, I am 49 years old, I wasted my life here. This place is damned, cursed. God has forgotten this wicked place. The low paying jobs, the economic inequality, the people’s shitty hateful attitudes, the egomaniacs, the stuck up bitches, this place sucks! I am finally moving next month to Illinois. My grandparents and grand aunt who I loved dearly have died and I am estranged from my mother, my sister and brothers moved out of Florida, my kids are in college in another state and city. It’s time to GO. Thank you for telling the truth brother. Miami used to be a good place in the 70’s and early 80’s it was AWESOME but it is absolutely hell now. I’m outta here soon bro.

I'm a Korean dude that grew up in nyc and I've lived in many cities including Miami for 3 years. I was pretty shocked at how rude ppl are in miami. And I realized how important people are to a place. Miami seems like an ideal location with sun and beaches but the ppl suck and I wonder what your thoughts are on why they are that way. I've been around latinos in other parts of the country and they don't act this way so why is miami this way? Is it low class Cubans fed up with communism and being told what to do, and so they act out in this way? Genuinely curious . And not to single out latinos but they do make up the majority of the city.
@Stayvigilant9992 жыл бұрын
It’s because majority of people here are Cuban and not all.. but a big majority of them feel very entitled due to their relationship with Florida. I think every single rude encounter I’ve had in Miami has been with mostly Cubans unfortunately

Miami is a cesspool of toxic attitudes and fake personalities. Everyone is mean to you unless you fit within their “clique”, and even then they won’t shy away from talking shit about you behind your back. The worse than 3rd world country infrastructure and public transportation along with the blistering heat and extreme far right influence ever present within the cities politics, Miami along with Florida is not a good place to live in peace and tranquility unless you like all the things mentioned above, and it’s only getting worse with more and more people immigrating and creating a large displacement between people who want to work for a better future and others who want to just leech and take advantage of a broken system, furthering the decay of Miamis society even further. I’m glad I’m moving soon to the PNW, I’ll be as far away as possible from Miami lol.

I'm from Salt Lake City, one of the nicest, most polite cities. I love your video. I have also been passed by the bus 4 times this year. I'm sure it was an accident. I don't have a car, whatsoever. It is also more expensive here recently . All the highways are free, but under construction. Roadwork is a constant threat to travel. People are less polite these days but they still try, they have feelings. They forgot how to drive long ago. I'm a warm weather person. I'll take that Tallahassee snow, LOL. There are a few black people here, 2 of whom moved here last year, and one who came with the pioneers in 47'. Is that enough to claim diversity? Actually, there is a growing black population of 20,000?, Some of whom say it feels like home. We do have a China town on State Street...I think, or is that just a restaurant next to a massage parlor?. The University of Utah is like Beijing University. Many Chinese are welcome here to study. We have always had a small Japanese population, especially after they closed the concentration camp at the end of WWII. We are also 53% Hispanic, mostly "undocumented" Mexicans. We have great Mexican food, and Taco Bell. There are 15,000 of the most wonderful, nicest people from many Polynesian islands you will ever meet. Talofa, Aloha, Kamusta,...Half the people are "European Anglo's. The ones' who said "this is the place" and took it from the Shoshone and the Ute's. The Shoshoni have always been friendly, and there are a few still around. The Ute's are also, mostly friendly. God bless. I should come visit Miami and work on my Spanish, and hopefully be able to get by in my native English. When I picked vegetables in Yuma, AZ. the Mexicans understood, I just came to Mexico because I needed a job.
