It's the speaker that isn't capable of translating the 'note'. It's made to push a signal within a specific bandwidth (why it's used for a guitar's tonal range) Having a dedicated ultra high range speaker would let you hear more of the evil pitches than a regular guitar cone will push.

Can you still chain whammys together to get stupid squeals higher than the new mononeon's range.

It sounds great however it’s a shame we can no longer get the older, proper carbon film resistors. Composite carbon resistors are garbage, and they age terribly changing the ohm value overtime for the worst. Metal film resistors do not age and have a better tolerance, but they create a really harsh tone. The best of the best will always be carbon film resistors however no one really makes them anymore as modern amplifiers look more like computer circuit boards. This is why if you can find Old Carbon film resistors they are worth of fortune. The lead tones sound pretty good in most of these videos. However, the rhythm tones appear to lack saturation, but maybe it’s just the way they are dialling it in and the fact that it’s being recorded with someone’s cell phone.

Just another guitar no body needs. Offers nothing special.

Love the sound and its dynamic characteristics that makes it so well-rounded! I was so moved by this guitar, that I went out and bought one for myself!

I've just got the 25, watt version and I'm disappointed with the overdrive channels, they sound harsh. They sound awful but okish on clean but pretty quiet. No tremolo effect which is also disappointing. For a little extra I would opt for the Boss. I'll giving this away unfortunately.

Good playing does the neck pickup play better than a normal telecaster pickup
