Well, since all of the comments are well over a year old, i'll just gonna go ahead and say that they brought a string session to their 10th anniversary band in pepsi center concert for this and a couple of Pau's songs and its on another level. They improve by the day, its crazy and its definetly worth checking it out. Btw, awesome video Justin :D

Gotta remind yourself… this is a concept album. Written by 10, 13, 16 YR OLDS! (or very close to those ages?) So funny that you said, "satanic groove". When i first heard this song, that's exactly what ran through my head! For me… it was the little organ whistle (sounded like an organ/keyboard) sound that went along with the tune. That made it sound like dracula music. Amazing song. GREAT REACTION! I knew you'd have to love this one.

this is one of my favorite unknown bands. they've had some limited success with having some songs on video games or movie soundtracks but they are such a GOOD non-maintstream band.

this song is a tough listen. I feel a lot of pain, and regret when hearing someone vocalize the feelings of self resentment that I have held. I have not always been a good person, and 30 years later I still lose sleep over the person I used to be. I wake up in cold sweats some nights fearing that I have not earned my place in my current life. I was a selfish, manipulative piece of shit, for a long time, and while its comforting to hear someone else express the same acknowledgment, that doesnt change the fact that I feel like I will never truly deserve any better than what I was 30 years ago. I have spent decades pushing people away in the fear that they may see me as my "old" self.

Woodstock ‘99 was great. It was intense, 2 Stages, all day and evening for 3 days with the best hard rock lineup. Metallica had all palmtree fireworks going over crowd and they played and played and played. Have to look up how long they went on. Wasnt a disaster like reported. Fires were controlled by people and they deserved the vendor and storage looting. Everyone had great time regardless. I

I see this song as an indictment of crony capitalism and the greed that fuels it. The lyrical message can be summed up with the old Bible verse, "The love of money is the root of all evil". As for the connection with their audience: The thing about DPA is that they never phone it in. Whether it's a crowd of 50 or 50,000, they are there for their fans, and their fans are there for them, and that energy exchange makes for what I imagine is a spiritual experience (I've never had the privilege of attending one of their shows personally, but it's on my bucket list).

You know, Dany gets a lot of shit for not shredding solos in every song, but as far as I'm concerned, that’s a strength, not a weakness. When it comes to rhythm guitar, she is second to none, and I'd put her up there with the best rhythm guitarists in the business. She plays exactly what the song needs, and doesn't get bogged down in the masturbatory trap of lengthy, self-indulgent guitar solos, and when she does add a solo, it’s done tastefully, without ego or pretense. She’s not Yngwie Malmsteen and she’s not trying to be. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her in that regard.

It's rare to see a band's actual peak recorded. They never did another tour, and more than likely show, with this level of intensity again.

i saw this a month ago randomly on tik tok where they performed this song in Europe and no had idea who they were and then 2 weeks ago I saw them live in NYC. I have never head of a band randomly and immediately want to see them live. Theyy are like 10 times better live than the albums and everyone in the crowd are super chill ppl. Also the audience was a mix of very young and very old and that's crazy to me. But side note I want to opening night and they played 2 nights in Brooklyn and that first night they decided not to play six feet deep which sucked because that song got me hooked when I first encountered them
