How do you practice? Any tips? Edit: I can’t go fast at all
@edymac28832 жыл бұрын
Hi there! This is SUPER late, but if you're still looking for tips: Take it in chunks. Especially for runs, do that 1-2 measures again. And then again. And then again. Take as slow as you need at first, then as your muscle memory kicks in, you'll be able to go faster. Sectionalized repetition helps me for fast pieces in general. Hope this helps!
@St0nky2 жыл бұрын
@@edymac2883 I’ll keep that in mind for other pieces because I already did solo and ensemble lol
@jojomj2 жыл бұрын
Most of the fast stuff is scale runs, just make sure you have your scales practiced at all times and you’ll really never have much trouble with scale runs again.
@shuangqiu5867 Жыл бұрын
Also make sure to add phrasing to your prices because it makes the music more expressive and it just sounds better in general

I have to do this for my solo ensemble :( Edit: it’s in a month and I still can’t count Edit 2: I am now practicing while listening to the piano, it’s working :D Edit 3: I tried playing along the whole song but couldn’t so I turned it to 0.75 speed. It’s still hard 😩 Edit 4: I realized my counting is pretty on point 😁

I don't know how you stand in one place for 40 minutes. I also didn't think I would sit through the entire thing (just because I normally wouldn't and I need to practice) but this was absolutely worth it. I wonder if watching it all the way through gave me LingLing powers like you 🤔

haha I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully it does give you some powers, good luck practicing!

Perhaps my affinity for Bach makes me biased, but I never tire to hear some of his works be performed again and again... The Andante part of the 1003 Sonata is such example as well... You captured the spiritual serenity nicely with a lovely phrasing... Thank you for sharing... 🎶

Please consider posting the entire speech including the 2 times that Greta paused until people got the medical attention they needed. Hearing her pause like that--it seemed she so naturally gave her attention to the emergency situations until the medics were in place--was very moving at the time. But I can find no video record of it.

THANK YOU for posting this. Greta's New York speech is sadly (and frighteningly) lacking in the Canadian news media.

SH Lee keep in mind that you shouldn't have posted this to KZbin if it is from elementary school. May I ask, how did you win a competition with this?

SH Lee And I have the freedom to comment what I would like. If this was for family members, maybe make it unlisted or private. What competition was this..?

@@seungholeeviolin Well I am glad it's here even though I am not a family member. It doesn't harm anyone, and I found it useful. Considering your ages you played pretty well. Belated congratulations on your win.
