I had the opportunity to visit the Montana Watch Company store in Livingston and their pieces are absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is the giant "Montana Watch Company" text emblazoned on their larger models tooks kinda tacky for the price.

What is realy disappointing is that the Vostok company didn’t put a genuine bronze buckle to straps, but instead chose to go with cheap material. And while the bronze case ages beautifully, the buckle doesn’t follow this. Cheap!

I wouldn’t have any Watches. It wasn’t for INVICTA. Watches are the best watches I’ve ever seen. I’ve had Seco. I’ve had citizen and they all broke. I took them back to the dealership because one van fell apart in like a month and they wouldn’t do nothing for itcitizens so I gave up on them and I saw these watches on TV. They’re beautiful and gorgeous and the goal last forever I got one Watch 20 years ago and the goal looks like new today. They’re the best and every type of season may love them so when you got a Rolex, everybody’s got a Rolex. They look no difference they’re just plain looking and they cost a fortune. I can have a lot of watches and more different watches and people love it, but I would never buy aerobics. I had a friend had a Rolex and he was in the shop more that he got to Wear.

Sorry, this is a fake sea-gull, despite the turbillon, the box is very simple, it is not the correct box for the watch, it is the wrong size, it is smaller, should have a blue stone carved in the crown, the days of the month should jump plus 3, at the back the Sea-Gull brand shoul be be carved not stamped, at the days of the week area should be carved the sea-gull mark like a very open chevron very visible, the pattern texture behind Sea-Gull name should be smaller and more detailed. And the sewing of the strap has poor quality as the carved name is not very legible. The case overall quality is better in the original. You would have known if you have seen the original watch. Sorry, you have been scammed.

I love my Pro Diver with the Seiko MH35 movement. The last time I set the time (against the Internet's atomic clock) was a full week ago. This morning, it's fast by 5 seconds. Even the mightly Rolex can only claim a best of +-2 seconds per DAY. I'm never gonna take this watch diving anyway, so the 200m vs. 300m depth rating is moot to me. So, for my purposes: 1) Style: every bit as good as the Rolex Submariner. 2) Function: every bit as good as a Seiko. 3) 1% the price of a Rollie. I'm not a watch guy. I just want my watch to be accurate (which it is), be durable, and look nice, without breaking my wallet.

Is there any real justification for this price? I mean if I wanted to pay over the odds for history I'd buy a set of encyclopaedias

I absolutely love hand winding watches. I got in to watches in January 2024 after breaking a NH36A movement not knowing how to change the date. Upon trying to learn how to fix it I fell into the rabbit hole of watch collecting. Initially I bought Solar/Quartz and automatics due to hype. I had a chance to get a BERMI hand winding watch from StimpsonLondon and it changed the whole game. Whenever I hand wind it I was feeling like creating bond with the watch ( Just like the way a shardbearer would make the connection with his sword in the stormlight archieve seires) . I love the ticking sound the and sound of winding it( I put the watch near my ear when winding). It marvels me how the watch itself work. Energy stored via winding/rotating the crown slowly released onto the watch mechanism so it could run smoothly. But when the energy has been exhausted the second hand will stop. This make me remind one day my beating heart also going to be stopped and the fact that life is short. So be wholesome and enjoy life. People who wore the vintage hand winding watch is probably dead by now given most companies who made hand winding watches are now defunct . Everything is impermanent and inconstant. This makes me feel at peace. In Buddhism contemplating about impermanence is called the perception of " Anicca" impermanence and It is extremely good for mental health and peace of mind. I have 12 hand winding watches now and It will only increase as I love them. Thanks for reading. May you be well and happy.

The Leisure Series watch you're using can be bought everyday for 12 to 25$, so I doubt seriously that it is PVD coated, more like black paint! I have a Seiko diver's black PVD about15 years old, the saphire is scratched but not a scratch on the black, that is PVD. Another test using different hardness testing tools on KZbin by an English gentlemen, shows that the PVD coating is much harder to scratch than regular Stainless Steel.

I am a lot older than you, 60! I remember the original of this, in fact my mother bought it for me as a birthday present. The watch was actually a Childs watch back then and was designed to teach children how to tell and read the time in both 12/24 hour formats. I loved mine, swam with it, rode my bike and all the rough and tumble stuff kids used to do back then! It was pretty much indestructible. After many years of use and especially swimming in the English Channel it finally succumbed to all those years of abuse by the plating wearing off and the brass getting rough and giving me rashes on my wrist so was retired for another Timex, this time a futuristic digital watch ! The old Timex still continued to work perfectly even after years of abuse, no servicing and literally spending every day in the summer holidays swimming and diving in the sea, just the case wearing out!

This gorgeous watch is being sold at Costco in Korea at a price of $750 in 2024, which is half of the original launch price . It's the cheapest price in the world, though.
