Finally a video where I can walk thru on my own car, only issue is you cut out the process of actually removing the fuel tank, the fuel pump itself, and installation of the new fuel pump. I don’t know anything about cars and I just bought an 87 300zx yesterday and don’t know where to start other than it needs the part replaced. You showed two bolts but none of the wires or hoses or how to get the intake hose out, maybe they’re small steps but for someone who has never worked on a car, I’d have appreciated to watch the whole process. Still appreciate the video but it’d be nice to see the whole thing.

@@RevampMotors I've had a 16 cell AntiGravity AG1601 on my 2ZZ-GE for almost 10 years now, but I keep it on a float charger when I'm not driving it. It lasts about 2-3 days off the charger before it starts to get below 12.8 volts and drops bad into the 4th day. To be expected for a car with a 3lb motorcycle battery with low amp hours. A simple solar charger is enough to keep it topped up if it's parked outside for days or anything. I've seen reviews of the newer NoCo's cutting out at low voltage from the BMS and then they just won't take charge because the cells are low and there's no recovery mode for them other than to cut open and direct charge.

Yea, mine did the same thing about 7 or 8 years and I was lucky to find an article showing the same test. Not sure why I didn't check the manual but,,,, I replaced the TCU and it worked fine,,,,until now. Trying to figure out why I can't get it to downshift when traveling at cruising speed. Problem happens when trying to go from OD to 4th and sometimes from 4th to 3rd. It changes from 1st to 4th then OD with no issues but if I try to speed up (floor it), the engine will rev up but it won't downshift. It passed all the tests so far and I'm dreading replacing it but I know that's what is coming.

If you decide to use silicone radiator hoses, the top and bottom of the stock radiator are made of plastic. I used screw type clamps with inner liner and sheared the goose neck inlet off the radiator trying to stop leaking hose. Use the stock Z32 clamps or constant tension clamps, ugly but saves replacing $150 radiator. Or get a snug fitting steel sleeve to fit inside the neck to prevent it from breaking. I went back to standard rubber hoses w/constant tension clamps.
