they ripped this off? LOL. couldn't do in game what someone else made in KSP1... KSP2 is actually not **bad** at all... They just didn't keep... any of their promises. Like any. They never implemented all of KSP1, let alone any of the other bullshit they promised. We got prettier re-skin with less functionality. Let alone multiplayer. "we designed it multiplayer from day 1" no you didn't. You never thought about it at all. So basically no reason to play KSP2 unless you enjoy the fancy new graphics. Which they must have been banking on because soooooooo many people modded KSP1 to hell and back.

@@danzstuff I really liked the moon soundtrack. The others were kind of forgettable. But I suppose I didn't go everywhere to figure out what places had unique soundtracks, just kerbin, moon, duna, and maybe eve. One of the things that really impressed me is how there is a different "screaming towards the surface at 60m/s soundtrack" and a "regular landing" soundtrack.

This hits different now. RIP Jeb and all the other Kerbals. You survived all those test flights just to get taken out by corporate bullshit. One of the saddest moments I've ever suffered in four decades of gaming. I loved that they used this as a template for the KSP2 trailer, but now it just feels sacrilege. I'm so sad. :(

Still such a beautiful trailer. A lot of official marketing makes the KSP games look like a silly rocket building game for - if not only for - children. But when you actually play the game, its actually something much more beautiful, its like a puzzle where you retrace the steps of the real spacefaring pioneers, and beyond. This trailer wonderfully illuminates that awe and wonder that this little game can create.

Bought the game roughly a month before this video was released. It's a shame I was just a few days to late to get the steam keys. But damn. It was an amazing journey. I guess now it'll be on to the next one.

I had a group of 9 year old boys talking about Grand Theft Auto in my 4th grade science class back in 2014. Decided I wanted to try to hook them on Kerbal instead. I showed them this trailer at the start of class and it turned them into KSP obsessed monsters. Well done. Thinking fondly of how excited they must be for KSP 2 right now as college kids.

Several years ago, I found out about KSP thanks to Robbaz. I played it and I lost so much sleep-- it was the game I never knew I needed. The majesty of exploration and thousands of kerbalnauts losing sacrificing their lives in the name of progress. Then I chanced upon this video and it perfectly captures the essence of KSP. Now here we are years later. It's happening, folks! KSP2 is right around the corner. Get to do it all over again

Yeah, I actually learned of two of my favorite games from Robbaz, both KSP and From The Depths. Havent watched him a long time (I hope hes doing well), but both games are still among my favorites. Still playing them from time to time. As for KSP2... I hope the publisher-BS will end and the game gets fixed into a good state. Pretty rough long and pre-release drama. But theres so much potential for KSP and its mods, if they can make KSP2 a stronger and bigger base-game.

And as the years pass by, the devs at private division use the same song that this trailer used.. It left me in tears because i remember watching this when i was four and being so excited. Can't wait for KSP 2!
