That's Dave Hadland, a singer-songwriter I recorded for in the late 90s and early aughts. I put his Apple Store link in the video description. That thing sounds really good - but it sounds like a regular 4-string......I can't hear any of the octaves being played! That IS how that thing is tuned, right...........in octaves?

Yes, like a 12-string gtr. It sounds fuller in person and I find it's great for noodling on the higher-pitched strings (it's a good writing tool) but, I think the octave pedal you used on your video sounds much cooler, maybe I need to try the 8-string with that pedal! :-)
