Frimpong has a €40m buy out clause in his contract that’s approximately £34.06m Celtic placed a 30% sell on clause on him when we sold him that works out at approximately £10.21m. If you factor in that Kieran Tierney is also going to be moved on from Arsenal this Summer and Celtic have a reported 15% sell on on him then we could conceivably have around £15m coming back this Summer which if the figures are correct should be enough to cover the fees of both Idah and Bernardo without touching the Bank or any proposed Transfer Kitty. If you remember when we signed CCV and Jota Celtic had already agreed £6m to participate in the Sydney Cup as part of a Ange Postecoglou’s home coming. I believe that if we really want to get these deals done they’ll be done fairly swiftly this Summer as the Board already have Champions League and a healthy Cash flow from the Bank. I think the main spend in terms of out goings will go on a quality keeper perhaps another Striker (Miovski for example) a left back and a straight replacement for Matt O’Riley who no doubt will be sold as soon as the £30m threshold has been met. Our finances have never been in such rude health.

Celtic won't get an elite level anything, we simply don't have the money / are an attractive enough club. Idah shouldn't cost more than £5million, look at his career and aside from a purple patch here for a few months he's a 1 goal in every 9 games striker who doesn't get a game at a poor level. That doesn't cost more than £5million. If it does, give that to Aberdeen for Miovski who is a better player.

Guarantee You won't get Idah for 5mil or Myoski

@@kevinmartin-uv1rm We might not, Norwich might ask for more but it doesn't mean they'll get it. I don't think that we'd get Miovski for £5million, but if we were looking to pay more than £5million for Idah (be that 6, 7 or whatever) then go for Miovski. Aberdeen might play hard ball but they will have a selling point, they have a new stadium to finance and no european football so I'd wager that Miovski will be looking to leave as well.

@@brownwarrior6867 The sell on will likely be a percentage of the profit, not the overall deal. Most clubs operate this way these days as a lot of teams have been stung by sell ons. So if he is sold for 40 million then it will be 30% of 28.5million (actually less, but I'm too lazy to work out the euro values).
