Please stop making videos of you working on bikes unless you will title them how not to. You have to understand everything your saying is incorrect and should not be shared. For Christ's sake u don't even have a set of t handles and u from what I can tell are under the impression that working on a bike takes anything but hand tools. Stop. Just stop . Learn from credible research and not from inexperience in your case.

I just removed my airbox and had no issue whatsoever where u had to hand ur dinky ikea Allen wrench to ur friend bc u were scared u were gonna break a nail and it was cutting ur hand up. ✋️

First time I've heard of anyone having this issue... However, if its part of one of these kits, I'd reach out by email & let them know what happened... I wouldn't doubt it if they send you a replacement!👀

I have the same setup. JL designs setup is solid. VF designs light strip adhesive is already failing on the contact side and the black fabric

I hate to hear that I've not had any issues at all. Did you clean the surfaces properly & heat them up before actually installing? Either way, you could grab some double-sided 3m tape from your local autoparts store & replace the adhesive... Hate to hear you had this problem. I've not had any issues with mine!🤷♂️

It's a crossplane motor these are known to have issues however I do ride my bikes pretty hard but I also maintain them very well

This was a sweet install vid and easy to follow,. Now I want to do this exact same setup with my new R1. When having to connect all the wires together, is it fairly simple, did you have to splice into the wires from bike or just the ones with the modded lights?

Just the ones from the modded light as I cut right after the stock connector then undid the connection & wired it to the kit it's very simple it just takes a little time & patience if you've never done wiring like this before I say go for it!

That is a good way to secure them as well however I've been doing stereos & stuff for 10+ year's & never had any issues if you twist them together tight & use the right size heat shrink shouldn't have any issues hope this saves you some time in the future!!!
