thats because the core group of fromsoft game enjoyers vehemently believes that unless you beat the boss through the hardest means necessary, you are not playing the game as intended. in reality the creator of the game implores gamers to use every single mechanic to make the game as easy as the gamer in question wants. its really interesting. i think that certain fromsoft gamers get an ego boost out of defeating the game under the hardest conditions, and views their stubbornness as a badge to talk down to casual fromsoft game enjoyers. imma keep using my fingerprint shield and antspur sword thanks 😂 im in it for the lore and role playing a tanky knight who eats dragons breath for breakfast
