All I know is that they are ninjas that use Ninpo. There are different ones. I google searched the enemies and there from a clan named Black Shadow Clan.

@@sokoneko2157 Death-bombing is a bit weird to explain, but I'll try. As you may have noticed, when you are hit, the screen flashes red. The game also freezes for about half a second. If you manage to use a bomb in this .5 second window after you're hit, you don't lose a life, and instead merely use a bomb. Bombs are basically shields if you can time it right.

If you do the dark brotherhood. Which is an assassins guild then you can assassinate her for an extra reward. The summary of the story is that Muiri wants her ex assassinated. So she is not a random NPC

Did you know you can play the original (not sure if pirated) version of the game? There is a video that teaches you how to download games to your computer. You can check "How to install Touhou 6 in 2023" on youtube.
