What kind of strings is on it?

Acacia has a very different sound compared to mahogany; if you’re looking to compare ukulele brands, it would have been better to compare ukes both made of acacia or both made of mahogany.

The video would be better if all the sound wasn't coming from the left channel. The right channel is silent.

LAte to the party, I guess. Anytime I've had the chance to play comparible mahogany and acacia baritones at the same time I've always preferred the sound of the mahogany - a little 'softer', a little less 'sharp', a few more bass-end harmonics, and nice sustain. YMMV.

Any recommendations of anything you have for someone wanting to start learning the ukulele and is looking for a concert ukulele and has a budget of under $200? Ready to buy now.

My Ohana Baritone Mahogany Ukulele BK-35CG with cutaway just arrived and I got it tuned. Apparently it had the original GHS strings which seem to be junk and very hard to tune. I'll be changing them soon. And not sure why yet, but it just feels smaller than my Kala that i've been playing. :o)

that Kala acacia is truly a GEM. i got mine a little while ago after researching at least 50-60 baritones, and that one was the clear winner. if you ask me, that uke beats ANY Pono uke at the same price range--not just for sound quality and durability, but also for stunning looks. the Kala SMHB (solid mahogany) is an identical uke, but in mahogany instead of acacia, and it's also an amazing gem. neither of these ukes are being made anymore, so if you see one, grab it!!! they're VERY special, wonderful models. i feel like Kala exceeded itself and excelled with that line of ukes, and you get WAY more instrument than you pay for :)))

LOL, you held that third one up to the camera while you were talking and it amplified your voice thru the back.
