Ahhhh yes…. The pile of craft supplies I convinced myself I needed but actually sit in the bottom of my closet until I realize I’m never going to use them and throw them out only to find out a week later I could have used them for something……

Hi Marsha, thank you!! So glad you are here! ❤️ I will add the recipe to the description and adding it here for quick reference. 1 cup flour, 1.5 to 2 cups water ( add 1 cup then continue to add water and mix until you get thin pancake batter) 2 tbsp Elmer's glue or mod podge, 2 tbsp white Chalk Paint, and 1/4 cup salt. You could probably get away with 2 tbsps of salt but I double it to be safe.

Thank you for sharing this video. My crafting supplies need some major organizing. Now that I’ve been making crafting/DIY videos I have really upped the craft supplies I have on hand. It’s messy! Thank you!! Yes, it would be a custom material. The same setting for cutting a custom stencil. I will check the settings on my Cricut and let you know.

I found two options for Cricut which might also apply to the Silhouette. 1. Set material to mylar then adjust pressure to "more" You may need to do a couple passes in the cut since the material is rather thick. 2. Set material as custom and adjust the cut pressure manually to have enough pressure for 1 or 2 passes to cut.

does the chalk work ok with the vinyl stencils?

Yes, you can use the chalk paste. An alternate is to simply use chalk paint with a stencil brush.

Love this! Is heat setting enough to keep the chalk from coming off on the black ornament?

You will seal the black chalk ornament then use a regular chalk stick or pen to change the countdown numbers.
