That sounds awesome, used to do the same stuff in the creek tunnels in my city as well 😅

Thanks for taking my suggestion to use these tunnels as a subject of one of your videos. Just fascinating. I had no idea they were so extensive (as a kid I was too scared to go in them). I'll share this video with the Gardenville Group. I'm sure some of their members will have tales to share about those tunnels from the 70's and 80's.
@FreeRoamBaltimore25 күн бұрын
It wasn't easy getting to the entrance. There's a fence surrounding the tunnel, so you will have to walk up the creek. The creek is deep in some spots, and you'll have to climb over rocks and stuff.

Growing up in the Gardenville section of Baltimore; there are 3 massive drainage tunnels that converge around Todd Avenue and Adleigh Avenue (21206 zip code) to form the Moores Run. We always heard of older kids walking the lengths of these tunnels to explore them and emerging at various points in the city. I was always too scared to do it because they were so dark. Apparently, each tunnel leads to a different area. Might be a good subject for a future video.

@Zurichguy70 Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to do a visit soon. Probably early next week. Which tunnel, out of the three tunnel options, is the best to explore?

There's car shows all over the Baltimore area. Some of them are weekly, bi-weekly, or once a year, depending on that specific car show. There's a car show group on Facebook that I follow, that's how I find out about the various car show I show on my channel. The Facebook group is called "Friends who like car and cruises", or something like that if you want more info about them.

has not begun yet. They are estimating it'll take 4 years for the bridge to be rebuilt and opened. step 1 is to plan the new one out, step 2 is to remove existing structures, step 3 is to contract and build.

The old Psychiatric Ward of DC General Hospital. This building goes back to the 1950's. I remember as a child, they were notorious for elevators that constantly got stuck and broke down. Some of the older hospital buildings have been renovated and repurposed. The main hospital building was recently demolished.

Damn, hate to see this kind of stuff. That brick paver road looked nice, well, nice at one time. Sucks to see these once proud cities flounder. I'm from the Detroit area, so I'm sympathetic to this. I visited Baltimore in 2019, Inner Harbor, was nice, USS Constellation, Fort McHenry, Owl Bar, Train Museum. Cool town, just hate seeing stuff like this.

Think about the one junkie who is squatting in there, that went to high school there. Hes 47 now, sleeping in his abandoned 11th grade history room remembering those times he flirted with Sarah and joking around with his buddies. Then he looks where he is now. Dont do drugs kids.
