Loved the organ music matched with the medieval buildings, The effect works. I found myself looking for my Granny in the crowds! Though impossible as 1981 was her final year! A shiver goes down my spine.

The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are non-existent. They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been led into a trance. they have made us indifferent to ourselves to others. We are focused only on our own game, they are safe as long as they are not discovered, that is their primary method of survival, keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated.

Well done for showing how CRAP you are. Losing on Claim the Stars, at Wolverhampton, after a DISGUSTINGLY poor ride. What a totally useless CRAP so called jockey you are! You should be banned for not giving the horse a better ride!!! You didn´t look like you wanted to win that race, absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour!!

pseudo sentimentalism combined with a very government compliant officialdom makes hawick anything but independent. Govern = to control. Ment = mind (as in Mental). freemasonry anyone!!!!????

rights are inherent to the sovereign man in common law and independence means self sufficiency. legality and law, never the twain shall meet.

Hugely impressed by the contribution that the 1514 Club has made and continues to make to the Common Riding and to Hawick and the Borders . I was unaware of the full extent to which the Club contributes to the community .

I would be interested to find out where you got the harmonies for this song. Try as I might, I can't work out the higher harmonies when the voices all blend together.

I'm an old guy now but used to run at the common riding sports games all over the borders. The borders people are the finest people you could ever hope to meet with a great history and traditions. I used to compete against a few good runners named moxey and Robert Lawrie and Michael Murphy. Happiest day's of my life. Obviously covid-19 has put paid to this year's festivities but the people can make up for that in the future. The very best of luck.
