Cardaq or autel? Which one and why?

If all you are doing is reprogramming modules then the CardaQ is the way to go. if you are just diagnosing codes and looking at wiring/pids, the Autel is the way to go. The CardaQ also is a generic ODBII code reader when you don't have any active licenses. Simple version, if you are doing anything OEM then go with CardaQ. Everything else, Autel.

The Autel Ultra is hands down one of the best all-in-one auto diagnostic systems. Besides the VCI functionality, the tool also allows for a 4-channel oscilloscope, Waveform generator, multimeter, and CanBUS Tester. One of our employees uses this tool and was able to track down communication errors across multiple modules in a 2018 Ram 2500. Very quick and responsive tool.

Yup, this tool is measuring tire tread depth in this video! It can also examine brake disk wear and connect to the Autel pre and post scan & ADAS systems to gain more information to provide to customers. Handy tool to get fast and accurate measurements!
