On or about December 1st, 2018, Verant Group interfered with contractual relationships between Tiana Selvin and Daniel Doria, by advising Ms. Selvin to breach the terms of her existing contractual financial relationships with Doria. On or about December 29th, Verant was notified of pending litigation related to this breach of civil code. By this time, Doria and Selvin had agreed to more attractive financial terms for Selvin. Doria requested that Verant not interfere with any additional contractual relationships between Selvin and Doria. On December 3rd, Doria received written word from Selvin that Verant had again interfered with Doria and Selvin’s contractual relationship, as reflected in a written communication from Ms. Selvin stating, “The only thing that you had to lord over me was bothering my job. Now you don’t have that...” Following this communication, Ms. Selvin again agreed to her previous contractual commitments. Throughout the day on January 3rd, 2019, Ms. Selvin attempted to have Doria deposit what money he does have, into his landlord’s account, under the guise that Ms. Selvin would also be fulfilling her financial commitments. At approximately 4:00PM, on January 3rd, Doria and Selvin’s final day to pay rent, Selvin informed Doria that she has not deposited the funds, and that she would not be honoring her obligations. On January 4th, Doria received an e-mail communication from Daniel W. Towson Esq. of SDGLLP, a law-firm specializing in employer defense. In this communication, Mr. Towson admitted to two legal violations. One, Mr. Towson admitted to, a third time, Verant’s interference with the contractual relationships of Doria and Selvin. Two, Mr. Towson admitted to exercising his authority as an officer of the court, to instruct Verant employees on their freedom of speech. Specifically, Mr. Towson stated that he instructed Verant employees, not to communicate with Doria. Third, an attempted civil violation and abuse of Towson’s position, Mr. Towson openly purported to have authority to instruct Doria, not to discuss the matter with Verant staff. This lends to the high likelihood that Verant is also aware of the conclusions Doria has arrived at as to Ms. Selvins’ character, and would prefer that he not communicate these facts and opinions to the public. Doria is not interested in Verant’s desires, but rather, Doria is interested in maintaining hearth and home, as his contractual agreements entitle him to. Due to the imminent threat of harm that will result from Selvin’s failure to adhere to these contractual terms, and Verant being the catalyst, Doria is filing suit on January 7th, 2019. Doria will seek immediately injunctive relief, ordering Verant group to cease any further interference with contractual relationships between Doria and any other individual or business. Doria will seek a jury trial, and damages to be calculated at trial. Verant and Ms. Selvin were previously placed on notice that this matter represents pending litigation, and pursuant to federal rules of evidence, both parties are under a duty to maintain and protect all communications related to these claims. Failure to do so may result in the court construing the claimed facts, as true, even in light of the absence of the evidence to support it, with some exception. Verant’s continued, and clear, willfulness to interfere with these contractual obligations represents a malicious nature, or in the least, extreme negligence on both the part of Verant, as well as their counsel. Further, Towson should be embarrassed that as an officer of the court, he could possibly arrive at the conclusion that he be in the right, to attempt to usurp free speech rights in the way that he did. Updates will follow if not blocked, or silence requested.
