Is the starter bolt under the intake manifold? Would it be easy if intake manifold and air filter box/tube removed? To get easy access of the starter? Whats the torque spec for all the starter nuts and bolt?

The best KZbin video on replacing a starter on a corolla. It's like I'm there right behind you. Most of the video, all I see is just you back dorsum. Keep up the great work/video

What a convenient time to drop a video. Just had mine go out. Have the scan tool that's capable. This video was the only other tool I needed to get the job done. Thanks!!

So I have the old style radiator where the angled pipe is on the right, I bought one where it’s on the left, I just have to cut and connect it there instead?
@franksmobilemechanic24 күн бұрын

I have the same car and am wondering why the radiator failed.
@franksmobilemechanicАй бұрын
No particular reason, just wear and tear. They are made out of plastic so overtime they fail.

Did you end up cutting the hose and why did you not show how to do that step?
@franksmobilemechanic2 ай бұрын
I just shortened the hose and used a brand new hose clamp on the quick connect.
@liveonsingh7808Ай бұрын
@@franksmobilemechanic okay so you did cut it and use the same quick connector? And the car didn’t have any issues?

I was wondering the same thing. You missed the draining of the radiator. There is no drain plug or petcock on the radiator.
@franksmobilemechanic2 ай бұрын
It didn’t have drain plug I just un hooked the lower rad hose this vehicle didn’t have much coolant in it as it was cracked and had lost almost all coolant
