that thing is scary fast. I dont think there is much beetle left in that car. it handles way too well. does not sound like a VW engine.

Tuesday, morning. Track Day ? light traffic. Nice lap. my notes: July 4, 2017 open, 17:15 - 19:30 Sunny. I completed 8 laps, but was totally out of synch. I drove in the rain on July 2nd; slow in corners, still driving like it was wet. 2015, 2017, 2019 and then Covid19 , maybe 2022. ha

Is that original Kasan Red or must be a respray...it was never the quite right red for me so I bought the orange one.

I went round in my orange Beetle in 1974..with it’s Reece Fish tuning firm side logo, Richard Grant front splitter, boom tube, black plastic rear bits, deep mud flaps, it got more looks than anything because it was right hand drive! I still have some standard 8mm film my dad took from the passenger seat as we lurched round. Don’t have the skill to upload stuff though....good to see this then.
