I lived across from the man who shot Ms. Keene for about 9 months from June 2019-March 2020 when he took his own life following a standoff with the police. I've been looking for updates on the case since then and have seen nothing new about the case during these past few years. I just found this, as well as some other articles written about the situation that have surfaced over the past 2-3 months. I'm very sorry to hear about the struggles she's endured as a result, but I'm glad to hear she has survived the ordeal and I wish her the best in further recovery. I respect the fact as well that she is willing to take this tragedy and use it to help people who have been affected by gun violence. Thank you for posting this.
