I think playing Ollie Palmer on his own up front was the problem. It worked against Exeter, but has not in the flur league matches since despite the results. Playing long balls up to a forward on his own with no supporting player(s) around him only results in the ball being picked-up by the opposition. Need to play two forwards from the word go.

We needed a striker in the last transfer window who could go straight in and score goals, instead we signed faal for a heavy sum and have hardly seen him and is work in progress when reality was we needed someone to come in there and then to help us score the goals for us.

WHAT WAS MULLIN THINKING! 3 minutes to go on clock, he had a man free in middle, and turns back into dead end nowhere and loses ball leading directly to Cambridge goal! Ridiculous schoolboy error, if in doubt chip it over the defence down towards corner flag in empty dead space! Waste time as they or keeper have to chase back into corner to chase ball......you chase and try to pin them in corner, and at least give your midfield and defence time to get into proper defensive shape for last few minutes! But, no! Mulls dies dome crazy turnaround dribble, lost ball and cost Wrexham 2 points! Crazy! Infuriates when even Premier League players turn back or pass back towards own goal! 7/10x it always leads to lost possession and a goal as your team is in attack formation NOT defensive shape! As clearly seen here for Cambridge 2nd goal! How much do players get paid again! Ridiculous!😮

Problem I have with those type of penalties is this.. An attacker can make them happen. This particular one, he ran into the box toed the ball way fwd then cut across the defender therefore tripping himself to be fair...

We been scraping single goals wins for a number of weeks now without playing well, parky playing palmer and lee is still questionable. Too many players underperformed today and not at it., still think we in a false position in the league, but we will see. Certainly need a attacking midfielder and a striker who can score goals in the january window if possible.

Poor performance , too many players not up to standard today, enough said really.

Solid game for Wreham. Had game well in hand. Unfortunately Mullen is partly responsible for draw. With only 4 minutes to go in game plus added few minutes plan should be 100% defensive. Get the ball out and down field. In that mindset the minute Mullen had ball he should have booted it down the side line, instead of trying to make an offensive play. As for goal tending penalty kick If I was coach I would fine my goaltender for launching in direction on a guess. Keep on toes and launch only when ball is kick knowing direction. I bet goalies would increase number of saves diving in direction ball was kicked. Its to easy for kicker to place ball in net opposite direction to a goalie who guess dives before kick.
