Some tasty sounds here, beyond what i've heard in other videos. I do wonder though, if it's the polyphony that "gets" me. Why is noone modulating this thing with the external cv's? Probably all video's i've seen of this module are modulated by the internal modulators or by hand.

Very helpful demo, thanks! Could you please explain how you generated the feedback sounds that you are feeding into the Ghost between 2 minutes and 5 minutes? Sounds amazing!

It seems to have a distinct character of its own suggesting that any random sound you came up with, people might tell in a blind test that it's the N. Warp. That's the impression I got from just a brief listen. Though it's not a module priority for me at the moment I'll probably buy asap.

one of the best pieces of electronic music ever, a big favorite of mine!

Very cool. It sounds very close. I think in a side-by-side comparison it would be hard for someone to pick the "real" one. I assume Hermod is doing the sequencing? Do you think it could be done with a Moog System 55 clone (such as Behringer 960) ?
@PanicGirlVidsАй бұрын
Thank you 🙌 And yes exactly, Hermod is handling the sequencing in this setup. I'm sure it can be replicated with various other setups. I'm not sure what the Moog System 55 includes tbh, but the modules I'm using are pretty basic
@boriscat1999Ай бұрын
@@PanicGirlVids Thanks. Hermod just isn't in my budget. I'll have to play around with the idea. Thanks for inspiring us again!

This sounds great. As for patches, try feeding the audio back into the external "aux input", and then setting the modulation oscillator to "balanced external". This gives you ring mod. (I'm only familiar with the 2010s Easel; maybe it's easier to do ring mod on the newer model)

Thanks for this sweet jam. I’ve been so focused and excited building out my first performance case I’ve neglected the ones that initially sparked my love for Modular. I’ve been wanting to break this one out again. Thanks for the reminder 🥰 and for all you do! Always keeping me inspired and full of joy when I listen to your music.

A moving palpitating piece. Gentle yet strong... Continuing ever forward ~ Wonderful Sound Work. I'm going to trade in my Mother 32 and exchange it for a SUBHARMONICON. It sounds and delivers such a variety of unique note patterns/rhythms by way of its very creative double sequencer. 🎉

Thank you so much 🙏 I just started exploring the Program Manager, but it seems very practical, especially for live performances - so I hope! Do you also play the Easel?

@@PanicGirlVids Very excited to see what you do with it and (obviously) the easel too! Never enough buchla content!! I've been playing an easel command with a lem218 for a couple years now and this was very inspirational. Loved your use of the touchstrip and voltage sources with the mod osc
Nice demo. Great sounds, per usual from PG. I use the Ground Control in my small portable rigs because it has good performance/composition balance. Great piece of gear.

This would be awesome to make a simulation of similar thing on cpu and add to a game. So that it would react to what player sees and adjusts this generator. Such reactive generated music would be revolutionary. It's live to understand how it's generated and learn how these instruments work to be able to simulate it.
