한스호터는 과연 당당한 버리톤 가수군요 그가 부른 노래를 유튜브에서 좀더 많이 들려 주었으면 합니다 슈만의 2사람의 척탄병은 정말 당당하게 들었씁니다

What cool staccato after 2:54 on "und blitzen" where it is like the interruptions of the line do not diminish the way he sings the words, it's as though it had been legato.

What asthma medicine did they have back in the 50s-60s? Nowadays the medicine is so good, I have asthma but as soon as I take the medicine all becomes good. I wish Hans Hotter could have had my asthma medicine :(

One of my Mentors … sings the hell out of this. His characterization has always been terrific. Eric is a living legend! Props to him, ALWAYS! This is a representation of Art at its highest standard!

Great performance but why is Brunnhilde wearing a couple of deck chairs? Why has Gunther got a concertina on his shoulder? I think we should be told!

I apologize for my tremendous ignorance, I heard this and because I don't understand german I found this sounded to me a little like the Marsellese. (specially at the end)

The set up is stoopid;this aria is a blessing for a new couple of lovers getting joined for life.Whoever staged this is a moron without sense of propriety,but that seems to be a quality of all these contemporary producers.

Frick is remarkable for his versatility. Yes indeed, his singing of Hagen for the Solti Gotterdammerung is the apotheosis of pure evil: a study in casual, disinterested malice that makes Neidlinger’s Alberich sound tamed and hesitating in comparison. However, Frick’s Hagen needs to be set aside his singing of Sarastro in Klemperer’s EMI Magic Flute, and his singing of Gurnemanz in Solti’s Parsifal: two performances distinguished by the most sublime virtue and spirituality, and without a trace of Hagen-like malevolence. Herr Frick could do it all!

Is this from a documentary? I have seen this and Siegeids Trauermarch here on youtube, so I assume that it's from the same documentary. Does anyone know where I can get it?

Every decade has it's epic Wagnerian Bad Guy: The 50s and 60s had Gustav Neidlinger, the 70s and 80s had Franz Mazura, and the 90s had Ekkehard Wlaschiha ^_^

Terrific! Amazing how Wagner keeps his orchestra out of the way of Hunding’s voice, so that the rage seems to be against a background of silent tension.

@wrtölp35782 жыл бұрын
I think Schumann himself😆no, but he is playing well. It could be Gerald Moore, although I think it is not him. There is another recording with Hotter and Moore (only Audio) which shows the diferences. Moore is totally into the music. But as I said it could be him at a different level of playing, maybe he was younger..
