Quick question if anyone could assist, very much appreciated but in the part where he talks about the compounding of labor to reach the total labor value of an object. It is said that the shovel, once made, over 5 years adds to the next cycle of production and a kind of compounding effect happens when that shovel is used to further increase production of the following cycle and at minute 53 there is a way in which to compute the total labor value of an object but it looks to me as though that is not what is happening. The shovel only adds as long as it is free. Bc whatever I make with the shovel already factors in the cost of labor in getting the shovel. So what I guess I’m trying to ask is where is my confusion happening; I don’t particularly understand the need of computing the compounding labor value of a product when value isn’t what’s being generated but refinement is. Looks like the friction for production goes down with the addition of a shovel not the compounding of wealth or labor.

It would be better without the political slights. Lost me there. When I hear "liberal" nonsense, it just calls into question the validity of anything the lecturer has to say.

“I am the lawgiver of Nature”. Problem:who are you? You are an appearance in my realm of appearance. You are an appearance I’ve synthesized. It’s not clear how there can be two consciousnesses. This fact one unity of consciousness undermines his ethical theory. Who do I owe debts to? Moral obligations? Lie to? Hegel took all this he distinguishes world spirit organizes the world from self

Mind affects itself. Contra Descartes , mind only knows the self the same way it knows other objects. It represents itself. Not in itself. It imposed temporality. It imposes a rule a category . They’re unified due to temporal order. 😊

Thank you! Enjoyed lectures. Great job. However, politics should be left out. Since Trump won and 4 years of best economy, jobs for all, border wall, world respect. Next 4 years, Biden does the exact opposite, worst economy, corruption of judicial system, influx of immigrants, chaos in government, etc. Democratic party has always been corrupted, Democratics fought for slavery, tried to deny women rights to votes, created the Ku Klux Klan, killed Indians during trail of tears, etc. It’s just embarrassing, how people forget the past.

When a person doesn't understand something, he becomes angry and spews hatred and fear. Politics should not be a part of or mentioned in a curriculum. The President's only power is to execute the law passed by congress. If a person is elected that Mr. Wolff does not support, does that mean the voters are wrong and he is right? That’s why we vote and after 4 years, to approve or disapprove results of an administration. Paul sounds like a crying child; if I don’t get what I want I’m leaving. Paul is not perfect, and neither are the candidates. The lectures are good but politics should not be included.

Marx likely was a high esoteric illuminated Freemasonry devotee because the 1700s goals of the Illuminati match closely the goals of the manifesto of the communists. One must look not at abstractions, but the implementations and what went wrong that caused the deaths of many tens of millions of innocent people when socialism was installed in all the places where violent revolutions eliminated the middle class and the hard working peasantry. The ideas of Marx turned into a secular religion that violently eliminated anyone who opposed it. Either you worked hard and earned stuff that you wanted to enjoy or you were lazy and were useless, but coveted what other's hard work and time had earned for them resulting in the government stealing the lifetime of work that competent others had accumulated. The result of Marx on a free and open society was to uplift the helpless useless people to oppress the hard working competent people so that the hard earned property of the worthy were stolen from them to be given to the unworthy, useless. When you uplift useless people, you are enforcing that dysgenics happen so that everyone is incentivized to become useless too. Feminism is a driving cause of dysgenics and catastrophic population collapse due to childhood education that instills greed, envy, narcissism, and low impulse control feelings and emotions-based thinking--gynocentrism that treats male thinking as wrong or improper and to be shunned as misogyny when this is a giant lie that is also causing dysgenics by young ladies seeking out big dick energy rather than a super smart father for the family's offspring that would uplift the intelligence of future generations. Case in point... With interracial cuc-kold perm, what ethnicity has the majority of male actors in these themed videos? In other words, whose wives, girlfriends, sisters, mothers are being subject to this magic spell casting propaganda that encourages fantasy exploration of such themes in the real world? How can this be dysgenic? That is easy to answer. Examine the videos on the average IQ of various countries all over the world. Nothing is socially constructed. Everything is genetic. If someone finds that their environment is not conducive to thriving, they should move to a new place elsewhere so that culture, religion, and poverty are not what one's offspring for must settle, but instead to uplift their lives to having a gigantic vocabulary of many millions of words and knowledge of what those words mean and their implications so that innovation can uplift the rest of humanity rather than settling for what Winston S. Churchill referred to as arrested development regarding Bolshevism. Reference "C-Span" "Dennis Prager" "still the best hope" Watch the entire thing. Leftism is toxic by being violent to innocent people who are deliberately excluded from any form of protected group or class, so are encouraged to be slaughtered like livestock animals. Who were the targets of the Frankfurt School Institute for Social Research involved in the extremely biased research survey study that resulted in the 1950s book Authoritarian Personality by Theodor W. Adorno, Else Frenkel-Brunswik, Daniel Levinson, and Nevitt Sanford--and who funded this project and book? Reference KZbin guide to world history part 4 Frankfurt school ISR Jones MacDonald

I think the reason Kant draws a sharp distinction between sensibility and understanding is two-fold: 1. Without this distinction, true certainty is always in question. This is what Kant identifies as the issue between the Empiricists and the Rationalists-that the Empiricists beginning with intuition could never reach any universal claim about reality. Intuition can only ever tell us something might happen and never that it must-the problem of induction. The rationalist, on the other hand, lacked a true reference for their conceptual mode of grasping the world. Concept only ever related to other concepts and therefore there was always a risk of circular truths. Second, Kant must posit a distinction between understanding and sensibility to remain consistent with his theory of space and time as forms of intuition. Kant identifies these forms of intuition as substrates of subjectivity in which space makes possible our relationship to external objects, and time makes possible our self-relation, and therefore the very unity of the thinking subject. Kant therefore must draw a distinction within the subject between modes of knowledge which are fundamentally self-referential (concepts and categories) and modes of knowledge which depend on external affects (empirical judgements). The only way of making sense of a subject whose basic relationship to the world is spatio-temporal is to divide the subject into the inner/outer sense. One corresponds to understanding, and the other correspond to intuition
