@@MarcosMoraleda sorry to hear 🥲 I had infinite black screen before writing the launch options, so I don't know why it doesn't fix it for you Maybe try removing the launch options, start the game again, close the game after the black screen, and add the option again once more on proton 9.0-2

Well I personally never played on the Rog ally, so I can't tell you from personal experience. But honestly I would still go with Steam Deck OLED mostly cause Valve keeps updating SteamOS and Proton, they keep adding more and more features and improvements as we go, so it should last you longer compared to the Ally. and trackpads allow you to play more type of games that you won't be able to on the Ally. But ROG Ally is running on Windows, so you should be able to play more multiplayer games that are unsupported on the Deck on it. So its really up to you to decide.. Rog Ally X looks pretty good honestly.

Yeah It controls very well imo, the default gamepad controls are very intuitive and comfortable. I got the game from humble bundle, there's a pretty good deal right now if you like oldschool FPS games. Yeah nearly every PS exclusive is coming to PC these days. Its pretty fun, the story imo was quite good.

@@CaseyMendez-xz3dn They sell a lot of copies on PC , and it brings them a lot of money. Typically they wait at least a year after the release of the console version. this way folks that can't wait buy the console version, and many big fans end up buying both versions. The next port is going to be God of War: Ragnarok in September.

It's almost the same as windows, I just tried it. 1. download tfix and install it. 2. go to desktop mode -> right click on Thief Gold - > select manage and browse files. 3. find the file called cam_mod.ini and open it, now find the line "always start the FM Selector (if one is present)" and remove the smicolon ; before FM underneath the line. 4. download the Black Parade mod from MODDB or other source and place the file in any folder (you can even keep it in "downloads") 5. Launch Thief gold like usual in gaming mode and you should see a FM launcher start instead of the normal game. 6. set up the path of where the mod you downloaded is located and the mod should start. If you want to play the regular thief levels instead of the mod click Skip FM. If you have trouble setting it up I could record a video sometime.

Some games are marked unsupported but work fine. But yeah in this game there seem to be big issues if you use gamepad. so I use keyboard and mouse emulation which work great.

Nice, glad it helped! You need to apply a similar fix to the 2nd game. Third should run fine without patches, but installing a mod called "Sneaky Upgrade" can improve the experience.

@@DeckPower i am running into weird issues where the game does not progress during the tutorial phase. I was stuck in the hallway for a bit with both gates locked. I to shut it down and then restart the game and i was able to get to the court yard to practice weapons. Now the door to leave is not responding 🥶i am using the pre made controls in the game menu load settings.

@@Nibot2023 That really sucks I'm not really sure what could be wrong.. after installing the fix everything should be working fine. Maybe you should try reinstalling the patch?

That's cool! I never played the original 3DS version.

I think it was L2 to select comms, and after that you select the option you want. The microphone communication doesn't seem to work.

Left bumper opens it but I can't choose any dialogue options.

Time really flies.. 😭

I think originally it came out even in 2017 on console. this is the Directors cut version which came a year later. The first was really awesome but the missions leading to each assassination were too repetitive. Was nice playing it again after so many years again though :D

I personally find it easier and more precise compared to sticks, at least in this particular game.

Hey! thanks for the tip! I like to use this sort of format so people can see the entire device. I was thinking about using Decky recorder when some extra steps are required to make the game work like tinkering in desktop mode so it will be easier to see the text.
