Hey! I can’t comment for other people experiences, but I’ve stayed at Orange lake at least 10/11 times and have never had any problems with roaches. Absolutely love this resort and would highly recommend it. If you have any more questions then feel free to ask ☺️

Great Travel Day Vlog Dan! We just finished it 😁 mad how empty your resort was! But as you say, the hurricane had a massive impact. Also, we loved the hotel you stayed at, that viewing deck is incredible. Think we might have to change from the Premier Inn next year 😅

Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! Yeah it was super quiet, it did get busier but nowhere near as busy as it is during the summer. Yeah the Hilton is a bit more expensive but personally I think it's well worth it. Really nice rooms, incredible roof top bar (especially in the summer) and great location. Just a little walk to the terminal

Its pot luck with the weather. Thats the chance you take. They have to make safety their priority. However, they have no excuse for Hex and other indoor attractions that are very often not working. Two years running Hex and Curse have been closed. Not good enough.

the weather was just another factor. I was already in a bad mood and the weather just added to that. absolutely no complaints with the closures for weather. but the rides kept breaking down when we were queuing. got all the way to the front of smiler after it breaking down twice I the line already to then be told the rides shut. not enough trains. was a bad experience for sure but absolutely no way has it effected my thoughts of Alton Towers. I love going there and will be again soon

@@SPARKESLIFE I agree. People travel a long way...as do I every year. The weather hasn't been a factor quite a few times, yet several rides have been closed. I love Alton Towers and spend two days there every year. I have seen a decline over the last six or seven years though. I get your frustration. The weather does take a toll though and must be taken into consideration.

So, you clearly (at present) don’t have to cope with chronic fatigue syndrome, mitochondiopathy, anxiety, depressive state of mind, etc., which is also why I wrote that it’s good too enjoy it (life) while you can. Not trying to be dramatic or negative, but no one knows what the future brings, so - like you - being in the moment (in the now) and making the most of it, having fun, is the right thing to do - enjoy 🤗

@SPARKESLIFE It was brilliant. The food and that Sangria cocktail were very nice. The run track was great for a run. I managed to run 10k on it. The entertainment was great. That ship is a party cruise. Amsterdam was lovely and I recommended that city to visit if you haven't been. I 100% be going on a Virgin Cruise ship again for sure 🙂

no big drop, just a couple of small ledges you go over at the different elements. like very mini slides as such to get the momentum
