Thanks mate. I'm doing something smaller (replacing a H7 bulb) on my '18 RG and it's a pain in the arse! I have to take the headlight assembly out completely to fit LEDs. The space is too tight. This vid should help a lot!

If your putting sportier in you should go from your relay not your high beam wires directly.

Yeah, but won't you still need the trigger wire from the high beam circuit back to relay?

Yeah I know mate I did this because you need a trigger wire from the hi-beam to the relay

Hey bud are you in WA. I'm keen on doing the same on my road bike but not sure if its legal. Sick job by the way

Completely legally in WA with conditions. Red lights facing forward are illegal when used on WA roads. If they are for display only and have a separate switches allowing them to be off when riding, all good.
