I respect what he's saying but I have to disagree, Omega and The Young Bucks (like them or not) are the cornerstone of AEW. I personally feel having them all come back would help the ratings somewhat at least with the core audience. Most of us started watching AEW because we were finally going to see our favorite New Japan wrestlers on American TV, don't get me wrong I enjoy seeing everyone get tv time but we need the original lineup.

why do i get the feeling the first time Kairi went to see Marina, Roddy and their kid since her US return (which would be late fall/early winter 2023), she got her name yelled at by Roddy in a wheelchair with a neck brace on all while Matt Taven & Mike Bennett is just chilling with Taven holding a giraffe doll and Adam Cole with a broken foot was cleaning up the house (but in reality was helping The Kingdom plot the betrayal of MJF) all while Marina was receiving text from Jon Moxley to try to join the then Blackpool Combat Club (now Death Riders). come to think of it, that mental image of Roddy screaming "KAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' in the wheelchair would had been funny alone.

AEW does need Kenny Omega. When Orange Cassidy is competing for the championship and Darby Allin is beating Will Osprey, something is definitely wrong with AEW. I have been a AEW fan from day one, a NJPW previous to that. Tony Khan puts everything on his shoulders and desperately needs help

There's stronger booking opportunities in Japan, and frankly He has better understanding of Japanese crowd psychology. Hopefully he starts working in a way where he beats the crap out of himself less. While American indie wrestling fans are more in tune with the Japanese style there's a reason AEW hasn't gotten over with the general North American public even as post Vince WWE has gotten hot.

Alex needs to listen to Reg & Phil and learn to just enjoy wrestling. This pod was a real drag because of his attitude. Also, if you have paid any attention you would get why Darby gets the push he does. Every single show little kids dress like him and O.C. They are the AEW equivalent of Rey Mysterio. When you have someone that connects with young fans that make NEW fans. I truly feel bad for Alex that a show this good “didn’t do it for him.”

And this is why AEW is sucking. No WWE official would’ve made the decision to have one of your main eventers return in another promotion. Someone with power needs to be hired at that company to make some tough decisions to prevent them from losing more viewers.

AEW was meant to be about Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes. Instead it’s all about The Young Bucks and Jon Moxley. That’s why nobody watches anymore. We could have had CM Punk, Omega, MJF and Cody as the top guys in an alternate aew timeline.
