In Mumbai people are transported in trains like heard of cattle. I'm not saying this. This is the verdict of the Bombay High court recently. In Shanghai however, people commute 600 kmph trains propelled by superconductors.

People don’t have much idea about mumbai as mumbai slums are more famous across the world than any other thing about it. It is actually waiting for the in general India’s economic growth to reflect and project itself on how dynamic the city is in numbers and its sheer diversity for those who have never visited it. But yes for now it is no where near shanghai..

I visted of Shanhai and Mumbai. I think Shanghai at least 15 times better than Mumbai. Shanghai is clean, safe, modern, etc. The infrastructures of Shanghai at least 30 times better than of Mumbai. Actually Mumbai against Shanghai is like hell.

Your lies are absolutely obvious. You haven't visited Mumbai. Better go into those high rise apartments and see the inside, how people live. They are horrible. I would say in terms of greenery Mumbai is heaven and Shanghai I hell with only concrete and zero trees. Shanghai doesn't have th Hanging Gardens like Mumbai nor the splendid architecture of Mumbai's buildings.

Dharavi is not the entire city. It's a slum. Hong Kongs Walled city isn't great either. Shanghai has slums and it's buildings are simply horrible from inside. As the great quote by Shakespeare: All the glisters is not gold. Shanghai is a perfect example of it. China censors media thus they only show it in the way the government wants it. India is democracy therefore they are honest with themselves. China Insider with David Zhang, Weis Real Talks, Serpentza, China Observer, etc are channels which show how super great your country is.

@@rojooexdi4480 I have lived in Mumbai for 1 year and there was not even a single day when there was a power outage. Owning car is nothing to be proud of, as it causes pollution. Mumbai's public transportation is quite descent, private car is not required in Mumbai. As of 2024 data, India's life expectancy is 72.24 (Source: Worldometer). Global hunger index data is flawed and also even in that India is not in top 10. India's infant mortality rate rank is 49th in the world. So, your biased opinion is rejected. Also, Shanghai is basically a concrete jungle having just big skyscrapers.

Comparing Mumbai with Shanghai is like comparing Dharavi with BKC. Mumbai needs decades of planning and development to match the development of Shanghai. A second tier city in China 10 times better than Mumbai at the moment. No offense to my fellow countrymen. Main bhi Bharatiya hi hoon. But sachai ye hai ki Shanghai is comparable to likes of Tokyo, Newyork etc whereas Mumbai is only comparable to likes of Nairobi, Karachi etc.
