I would say how it was recorded and mastered makes the most difference. Then of course what you listen to it on. But even a great recording will sound better or crap speakers than a poor recording on crap speakers.

Not lossless, the "Stats for Nerds" in Firefox (right click the video, pick "stats for nerds") reports the codec underneath as "opus (251)" which has some loss. Whether the loss is transparent or not is another issue

Even though I have all the hi-fi and hi-end music equipment in my house, I still could not get the sound quality as good as KZbin's hq flac etc. music videos. I believe KZbin has great sound technology in its sound infrastructure as well as music channels like NBR which broadcast extremely realistic and great quality sounds.

Between AirPlay and KZbin AirPlay max is If the streaming app, iPhone/iPad, and streaming endpoint are not all AirPlay 2-equipped, the stream will be lossy compressed to AAC 256kbps. KZbin is AAC 256kbps So it’s surprisingly good for 256kbps AAC… And this is the only streaming service for this track set 😢

Sounds great on my karaoke DB CS-1288 AL speakers and AV-5022 BT amp. I know it may not be the best but it sounds great for the price in the Philippines. I almost forgot how much I love sound. I now want a home theater.

BTW it's going from my Xbox Series X in stereo to non smart tv to my amp via aux. Sounds better than using Bluetooth on my LG C4 to the amp. I still need to buy a DAC for optical to RCA.

I tried it from my phone and it's a huge difference. It was so dull. But the speakers were equal in volume. So I think my Xbox does that for clarity.
