Why a Japanese adventure game would have such a heavily R&B influenced track is beyond me. But by all means I’m not complaining at all this soundtrack rocks

I enjoy the fact you put the stage music together to imply the scoring of a complete scene, which is probably what was intended..hearing the small bits of these tunes outside of that comes off as sort of like hearing the chorus of a song, but not the verse....etc. Hearing everything together like this, you get a broader sense of the compisition AS a complete level soundtrack.

Strider to me will always be one of those capcom classics that I can come back to and completely fall in love with over and over again. I hope they have a dlc cross over with Monster Hunter Wilds. At least a Strider hiryu costume and a respected dinosaur monster or robo ape boss.

Just as a heads up, a lot of people will probably come here due to the Vampire Survivors DLC that features some lesser-known Castlevania content, though the specifics will be hidden under Read More due to spoilers. Hearing this song while fighting Death and watching as the generations of Belmonts and their allies come to your aid is great, and it makes sense that the disc of (arguably) the most iconic Castlevania is a core part of the closest thing Vampire Survivors has to a deity. It's also funny how Dracula got so sick of the Belmonts that he joined the Survivors to avoid fighting Richter.

This might be the end of the Belmont Clan's hunt for Dracula (in a fashion), but this is just the beginning of the Vampire Survivors' (and their newfound, very literal Vampire Survivor's) journey to track down the elusive Bisconte Draculó.

I didn't put the pieces together until you said it but yeah, of course castlevania is such a key piece of vampire survivors DNA and inspiration that it makes sense to be part of the being that essentially directs the game

Hello this the moment when you realize that entire final sequence is actually the final Boss fight from Castlevania Judgement only done way better despite the 16 bit graphical style.. as even Dracula was playable in Judgement.

This is the theme for the bad ending in Dragonfall, the dread this emits sets the tone perfectly well for what is about to be the end of the world.

Consciousness has overreached the point of being a sufferable property of our species, and to minimize this problem we must minimize our consciousness. Existence hurts everyone. Non-existence hurts no one. This is the secret good ending---the elimination of suffering.
@mashinigun24 күн бұрын
@@ananousous its an interesting point of view, except its not the end, after about 5 thousand years life will reclaim the earth once again. The outter plane creatures, this horrors they feed on the suffering and misery they inflict so they always need life to haunt constantly.
@ananousous24 күн бұрын
@mashinigun I thought life repopulated from the survivors of the end of the world/cycle. If meta-humanity can achieve extinction, the cycle will continue but the species will not be there. They would be free from the torment it brings, they would have achieve peace It's possible new life will appear, given enough time. But it seems unlikely they'll develop as high of a level of consciousness as we have---a consciousness that can experience suffering. And if this new life should evolve this way, it is only a matter of time before it too recognizes the liberation in its own extinction.
