Not sure how to describe this game, but it’s like a well executed mix of surprisingly Mario-akin precision platforming and momentum. I actually prefer it to the Genesis version due to its consistency, and jumping also feels better on MS/GG for some reason.

People always bash on this version. It obviously doesn’t hold a candle to the snes version. The truth is, this is probably the best looking and sounding game for the gameboy color. If you own a gameboy color, whether for collecting or playing, this is a must have for sure. Along with all the dk land games. Modern displays with emulators make this game very pixelated. And even antialiasing doesn’t do it justice. Playing my og copy on my backlit gbc is very fun. The music is surprisingly good too. The only other gbc game that looks as good I can think of is Shantea, another must have! But good luck with the mine cart level on gbc it’s fucked haha

Tie breaker, SNES still looks like it came out of the 90s ✔️ and still beats Sega in every way possible ✔️. Nintendo does what Sega won't because they went under after they released the Dreamcast.

You should should have used the power base converter.

The Nomad could also be plugged into the wall as a power source (instead of always paying for batteries). In that way, it very much rivals the way in which the majority of people use the Switch in docked mode anyways

The Wii U should've at least let you go to another room and play there, not just literally kill the connection the second you go behind a wall.

iPad is wayyy better if you want to do anything other than play games but it does that amazing too, I have a ps5, gaming laptop, switch, and ipad and the ipad is what I sit on most all day long playing hoyoverse games, drawing in procreate, watching new movies on the free sites, make music, edit videos and basically everything, and my pc being second where I play triple a titles. The switch collects dust aside from a new Zelda game every few years and if they ever make a good Pokémon game again but if someone’s into old style Mario platforming and can be entertained on something like that for long periods of time you might get more out of a switch but still not near as much as a tablet would entertain you if we’re comparing the two.
