So sorry you deleted all other videos about spirit houses and thai amulets. 9 years ago I couldn't download them. Now I can, but there are no videos anymore 😥 These were wonderful videos about the traditions of Thailand. Could you restore them please. I would be very grateful. And others would be interested to see. Thank you.

But don't catch them drunk! When drunk they might turn violent and not realise it and then regret deeply afterwards.

You don't know the history of Buddhism it always was like this look at zen Buddhism. Buddhism monestries always were side to side with major shiv temples go to ancient sites like elora and ajanta caves most of the thing that Buddhism came up with was always there the great buddha made it into a streamlined process Hinduism isn't a structured thing Buddhism just don't agree on some points that some other sects believe in the same intensity that's about it . Like Buddhism during that time didn't even go for self defence so when the Muslim invasion happened they along with Jain's were mostly wiped out of India while Hindus believed in self defence. But with passing of time Buddhist do believe in self defence. You will find ancient Buddhist monasteries with hindu gods and goddesses all over them and also many places even now Hindus worship Buddha as their god .

@Gaun Yin there is nothing like brahma and indra in buddhism. Historically they were added later on. And mostly due to influence of hindu brahmanism in South east asia many hindu gods were adopted..some got included in buddhism some were not. Best example is Ganesha , he is also famous in thailand. But he is purely hindu god. Again on the other hand there are traces of Vishnu, shiva , Devi worship in Thailand since ancient times. Thais believe in both hindu and Buddhist god. King Rama 1 has built Devasathan which is purely a hindu temple not buddhist.
