Totally see your point but will agree to disagree, I see some positives in other places, even if small. But each to their own 🙂

As probably the token 49ers fan who subscribes to this podcast I must say that the game could have been very one sided but in fact our own inability to close games out gave your team a chance even in the 4th quarter. I dont forsee many victories for the Patriots this season but its a new era and a total reset so the team will need time. I will say that the fact that your offensive line was not adressed effectively in the close season was crazy. As for the niners....Kyle is a great coach but this may be a make or break season for him and up to now its not going that well. Ps I finally recovered from the Superbowl loss...I think it was the capitulation to the Rams in week three that got me back invested in football.

The O-Line let them down ,Jacoby was on the run most of the game the Seattle D-Line ran through the Patriots blocking very easily and that takes the passing away!

Chudders is spot on... Bills got the player they really wanted, AD Mitchell, while getting some extra draft picks. The strange part was them trading with the Chiefs. The Raiders had NO choice, they just took the best player available. They should have or could have traded down but Bower is awesome!

Brilliant show as usual 👏I want to play some Snooker with Chudders... But 1 question on something Chudders said which sent shivers down my spine. Are we thinking Onwenu is a OG or a ROT? I realize he was drafted as an OG, but he's been playing ROT at a pretty good level (needs some work on pass blocking). IF he is our OG, then my goodness, we need 2 OT's and we don't even have 1 starting caliber players. We'll need 2 OT's, a QB, one could argue we need 3 WR's, a TE, we need some CB's, maybe a young LB. We only have 7 draft picks.. That's why doing nothing in Free Agency just kills us, it should have helped us focus in on our important long-term needs, but it left us with glaring short-term needs.

They should have used the extra money to improve the team for this year. Still draft for those positions but we could've been more competitive this year. Great show as always

How high did you think he was going to be drafted before the combine and then now since it? I think there's a chance he'll get drafted in the final third of the 1st round but that's about where I thoughts he'd go before the combine.

I thought our Defense was quite poor on Sunday. Gonzales played great but the Safeties played horrible in run support. Both Duggar & Peppers were quite poor. The front 7 should have dominated but they did not. 1 sack?

Bill respects Ed IQ so much but I couldn't see Ed meshing with Bill defense because Reed played outside the confines of a scheme, he literally just roaming setting up traps on his own
@tonybaggett1984
@tonybaggett1984 2 жыл бұрын
Belichick coached LT as defensive coordinator for the Giants. He basically let LT roam free. He’d done the same with Reed. Belichick’s greatest strength isn’t schemes it’s utilizing players. Don’t get 6 rings and 9 Super Bowl appearances without utilizing players strengths.

It was one of the greatest plays of all time. A combination of instinct, preparation, athleticism in a high stakes game against one of the best QBs of all-time. Bill knows greatness, and Ed Reed is an ATG. Arguably the greatest FS of all time.
