As a gate installation tech I have many questions for the longevity of life for this gate. Cool design. Just don’t know how well it will hold up with weather and other malfunctions.

Top of the line products but horrible installers and engineers that measure once and have to cut 3 -4 times . Till this day I have issues with my gates, I paid top dollar. They also installed screws crooked and left huge gaps between fences, leaving an unpleasant appearance. They will send out many repair men but no one really solves the issue. After their warranty is done they want money just to come out to fix the same problems from before.

I'm wondering: Is Mullholland Brand a brand? If so, how are we supposed to know?

What type of system was used for this gate? It appears to be on a ground track, so it is not a cantilever gate. What gate operator was used? Is there a counterweight / counterbalance?

On swing gates you don’t really want them to close together perfectly, safety hazard, creates a pinch roller effect between the two gates, better to have one close slightly ahead of the other, mush safer. Decades have taught me this.

HAHAHAH. Why's it so COMPLICATED?! Just use a worm gear and rack system, gees. What does the counterweight system even achieve? Oh its smooth? Why not a simple leaver system if you really need it? It would fit into 1/3 the space. I need to design one of these now just to do a better job lmao. (in the engineering field).

how do you prevent the gate from being lifted off the track ? our issue we have is that by lifting the gate off the track it unhinges the hook bolt and basically opens the gate up
