"Hey Dad, better be careful, it's an Ash!" **proceeds to stand directly behind the tree after felling cuts have been made**

This a leaner, not a widow maker. If you're going to pull it down, make sure your line is longer than the tree is tall. As an experienced logger, I can say I fail to see the usefulness of this cut in this situation.

This was awesome. I live on a farm in the UK and cut trees for firewood but am always wary of this type of tree. I generally pull them down with a rope but the pre-cut technique you use will make that process a lot easier. Thanks and keep up the good work!

You're ok, lad ! Thanks for this demo. But I suggest that you could stop waiting for peoples gratitude (in your way of speaking and in your attitude) and stick to showing what you can do. If you wait for people to praise you, you'll get nothing whereas if you don't wait for anything, you'll get everything. Keep going, lad !!
@SkIttle2The02 жыл бұрын
A non proper face cut, why is anyone praising?

Your mother must be worried about her son felling trees after sunset. Still, good technique.

It may be a good skill to practice tossing an anchor, and lasso the trees higher up, to get more leverage. I use a socket wrench that works well, but I've seen pros use sand bags.

Just put a giant notch in it with a real chainsaw then finish it off with a pole saw from a safe 15 foot away.

If your saw is a 362c , and has a 3 position control switch it is M-Tronic.
@isaacsoutdooradventures7763 жыл бұрын
Ya it is I didn’t know that at that point in time

When he tipped over there was a pretty deep hole plus it was a very tight space so he had to lift it up high to get those logs around stuff

Those machines were amazing. The prices went along with their size!!!! I can see big businesses needing them. I would think it would be more fun to use the smaller machines like you have rather than watching the large machines do the work. I like the guest appearances by your family members at the end!!!
