I’m an Egyptian Computer Science student at the university of London. While I seem to enjoy programming, I think that I have greater interest towards politics. I love reading about politics and listening to political podcasts. In addition, my country (Egypt) has been a military dominated state since the 1950’s with widespread corruption and domestic challenges like: poverty, lack of education and diseases. While we managed to successfully topple a dictator (Mubarak) and managed to elect our President for the first since the proclamation of the republic and the abolishment of the monarchy, that brief experiment with civilian rule wouldn’t last as the military regained power after deposing the elected President in a coup a year later. I applied for the United States Diversity Visa Lottery Program. I’m seriously thinking about studying economics and politics in the U.S. and return to Egypt after receiving masters in politics and join Egyptian politics. I hope to become the President of my country one day and fix many of its existing challenges that are impacting the country and its people for decades.

Hey i just came new to your channel and i like your video . I would like to say that some countries have a rare unique form of government like India which has a Quasi - federal structure a mix of both unitary and federal structure . Though officially its a federal state the central government is much more powerful then the reginal governments and has a say on wide range of issues and on *certain conditions the central government may even dismiss the state government and takeover control ( known as President's rule)* Thus it resembles like a unitary state. however there are certain areas where only states have power and these areas are constitutionally protected .
