Go to your files click it till you see ArtOfEquation then you will extract all files once done with that you will double click it and join in

Hi! Just to help clarify, Horse Project is being developed by a hobbyist gamedev who is also an equestrian herself! Animation, creation of 3d models and programming is a very difficult process which requires a lot of time, effort and skills. Our Lead Dev tries her best to make and animate the horses as best as possible, but they're still learning! We totally agree that the 3d models and animations in game are far from ideal and there is still a lot of room for improvement, which is why the Pre-Alpha is free and we're asking for constructive feedback 💚 The in-game models and animations have already been changed several times along the way, as the game development progressed and our Lead Dev gained new skills. The content you see now is not final! Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great game that we truly appreciate for it's look, complexity and attention to details! But, it is a AAA game with a budget of nearly 500 million US dollars developed by a game studio with nearly 2k staff members. Thanks to such resourses, developers had the opportiunity to hire the best of the best and use Motion Capture techonology for creating animations, including for the horses (and that's one of the main reasons why they look so good!). Sadly, we don’t have the same amount of resources or experience, but we’re committed to learn and do our best to deliver a fun horse game :)

It’s just a game, that is also very clearly still in development. If you like RD2 better then go play it.

@@horseproj_game What about breeding/foals i think that will be an amazing feature hard to do so most likely but if you could try i would love it I'm playing the game right now i love it but the reins are a bit loose like fly everywhere unless that was the v2 cuz i just downloaded the v3

Hi! We hear you, the jump is not the best! The horse animations are constantly being worked on and improved behind the scenes, but the Lead Dev is a hobbyist and this is a passion project which means they're learning and evolving alongside it. It may take some time for the jumping animations to feel more fluid :) The devs are super open to constructive feedback over on our Official Discord though! 💚

Yeah, they had me until that. I wish I wasn’t this picky, because it means there’s almost no horse games I can play, but bad animation of their movements kills the whole game for me.

@@Sylfaein yeah, it being a pre alpha doesn't mean it can freely have janky animation. This is supposed to represent a future product.

I don’t know what I expected of that jump but I burst out laughing when looking at it. I don’t even know what to compare it to, it’s like a goat prancing over a small obstacle. Did nobody get reference or photos of honestly any mammal doing a bigger jump, let alone a horse? Also the dressage bits look wonky, especially when turning around because the tail model is being held out stiffly when in reality gravity should pull it significantly more down

Y’all it’s made by one person only do u know how hard it is and yes free alphas have ‘freely janky animation’’ I mean it’s called pre alpha. Not even demo or fully alpha stage yet.

That’s unfortunately because Chromebooks are more or less programmed to do that

Once you download the file, you have to unzip/extract the folder by right-clicking on it and looking for the right option to do so! Once you do that, open the folder and look for the .exe that has the name of the game or an unreal engine logo!

Yes! This year's Pre-Alpha v3 will have more tack including this saddle pad 😍 The game will eventually be paid, this is to help ensure the continuation of its development 💚

@@blusdrxgons before next release trailer will be published, so you wouldn't miss : ) Monetization in future still in question, but if all planned features will be released it's more likely that it will be no longer free as development requires a lot of money and effort.
