I have a quick question for u if I may I have a 1986 Camaro iroc z28 With a tune port I'm guessing it have a 305 not sure whoever had the car before me switched out motors But it's a tomb port I bought a 150 amp alternator because I wanna have music I wanna run my air conditioner The problem I ran into is the top Alternator bracket is not allowing the 150 alternator to fit I notice on the original alternator the alternator casing with a boat lined up it's an inch and a half taller So the alternator holes don't line up do you have Solution for that if you can help me out I have a grant I can send you a picture of it to see if that's something your interested in I just need a top bracket I'm not sure if you ever ran into that problem Thanks

Just did that exact tank on my neighbors car. The straps are useable they just need some persuasion in the bending process. Once bend they work just like the old ones.
