They got down..... that's pretty standard for small countries. I flew on a plane with duck tape that was coming off the wings. You either make it or you don't.

At 6’6” I have never found a comfortable seat. When I booked a seat just behind the bulkhead where there is more leg room they charge me an additional $200 bucks. I have no choice that my legs are long, unlike overweight passengers. I believe this is pure discrimination against tall people! I had no problem with leg room in the 60s to early 70s.

There should be a disclosure stating that this is an old video so that your audience knows what to expect today. CX ended their partnership with Aesop since 2019 and has partnered with Bamford to this date. Also, CX has stopped flying first class HKG-YVR since March, 2020.

You're right. CX has stopped flying first class to YVR since 2020, this is an old video possibly from 2019/2020.

flew into Innsbruck in June. the pilot took the plane up again just before touch down. that was a rather wierd sentsation I can tell you. Innsbruck does have some strange thermal winds at times. I think this is a real video of a landing.

1:16 AA 777-200ER only have RR Trent 800 engines option. In the US, only UA has PW4000 or GE90-94B for their 777-200 and 777-200ER. So your aircraft has RR not PW.

You seem to have a love affair with the "zoom in/zoom out" scene transition effect, as it's use for EVERY scene transition in this video. Makes for a very jarring and annoying viewing experience. Also, why does your title say "British Airways" when you're obviously aboard an American Airlines flight? Did you not know what airline you were flying? Sloppy effort.
@AeroscopeAviation5 ай бұрын
You seem to be the only one with the problem with the Zoom In/Zoom Out transitions, so I suggest you stop watching such videos if they bother you. Also, the title was a simple typo that has been fixed. Simple coordination error between the vlogger (who flew on the aircraft) and the editor (who published the video). There was a non-rude way for you to make the comment. I'll give you one more chance to rectify your attitude.
@screwthepap-bx2bb5 ай бұрын
@@AeroscopeAviation Have to agree with Jimcrow about the zoomie effect on *every* scene transition. I tried viewing this and your earlier CPH-LHR trip report (which also used zoomie transitions) but gave up after a few minutes because of the visual assault.
@AeroscopeAviation5 ай бұрын
@screwthepap-bx2bb - thanks for the feedback. I accept the constructive criticism and the feedback will be incorporated in future videos. My only point above was that there is a respectful / non-rude way of giving feedback, which you did in a very refreshing way (and the previous commenter didn't). Thanks again!

Being a Danish waiter, hotel clerk, and airport worker is synonymous with being cold, aloof, and arrogant. If you expect service with a smile from waiters, hotel clerks, and airport personnel and an overall professional attitude stay out of Denmark because you are NOT going to get it there.

a runway 8 approach in a 737-800. But this time it is a real airplane, right? Yeah, this aint no simulation. (or the simulators have gotten very good. I know the newer one from Microsoft is not bad but this looks real. ((difficult to say what is real these days. You can find AI generated videos that look very real, but are not. That is where the doubt comes from..... but, yeah, this is obviously real)) Me, i am an armchair pilot. Flown thousands of hours in all kinds of software airplanes, including the most realistic addons you could get for FSX, the PMDG addon planes which are just pieces of art in my opinion. Flown this approach perhaps a thousand times in FSX, with basically every PMDG addon there is. The MD11 is a wonderful addon, may not be the best PMDG there is but still a nice one. Obviously i also took the Queen of the skies on this approach, the 747. Empty obviously. And the 737, but to be honest: it seems to me that that one flies itself. The simulator may look realistic, but it does not feel realistic when flying the pmdg 737. It is in my opinion way too easy. If it is that easy in real life, then i should have become a pilot. Nah, just kidding. I can not stand the feeling in my stomach when going up and down too fast. Hence why i never got any further than being an Armchair pilot. With 2 real flights while in control on my record. (just them flights of an hour or 2 which you can buy online. You may fly with a certified pilot who lets you control the plane a bit.....I was allowed to take off, but the landing was done by him. And the second time by her. Because in the sim it looks so easy, but in real life i had no clue where the runway was, where to look for, how hard to pull, how much input to give, etc etc. I was just amazed, and obviously nervous and my stomach also did not help me out.) Anyways, thanks for posting this, and sorry for having written you a book. It is sad to see not more views on such a nice video. Or comments.

btw, have you ever had the chance to fly in real life with a small plane to land on Courchevel? Or perhaps as a passenger? LFLJ. That landing is one i would love to have experienced once in my life. But i guess i wont ever be able to pay for the trip.
