That's really creepy and also confusing So this is a different timeline where Alex was warned not to go to the island But does that mean that the original Alex warned her? And also when did that happen? Edit so I realize that there's many different Alex's but there's three that we mainly know about Alex 1: this is the original Alex who went to the island and experienced the loop and is still in it Alex 2: this is really Alex number one who realizes that she's in a loop halfway through the game and discovers a way to warn future Alex's to not go to the island Alex 3: this Alex was warned not to go to the island by Alex number 2 and therefore was saved from the loop

Finally got around to this game and it's okay but very overrated. It's fun initially, almost soothing in the sense of a job well done. But soon gives way to so much repetition you go numb and only "progression" keeps you going. You don't care about the people, your family, just making money to reach the next day. It's very dull too quick. Not enough events happen in between the drudgery and if drudgery was the goal, it's embarrassing that so many people simply haven't had a real job that they are wow'ed by this so much. And then on top of gameplay issues, like inaccurate portraits or characters not showing up when the game says they are supposed to that very day. I got fines I shouldn't have and some plot points with side characters seemed to just never have a resolution, all for unsatisfying endings and other dumb things. It was a cool build up into a wet fart. It's not a game you really replay. My neighbors reported my new wealth? How? Obviously I wasn't spending any money on anything other than food and heat and rent. Do they not have banks in that country? And upgrading your home is completely pointless. And given how bad Arzstroka is, the family being sent back to their village is probably a good thing. And what's that worthless uncle doing anyway? And if the country requires its citizens to support large healthy families, then what were people doing before the the random selection by work lottery? What about those families or apparently "me" before I got the job.
