I highly recommend finding any talk made by Lynda Barry ... she speaks of art as a 4-year-old being an experience in which they're involved, which changes as puberty hits to feeling that what you're making is separate from yourself (along with being aware of judgment by others).

A favorite hobby of mine is to draw random meaningless symbols in my sketchbook. I've thought about using them to make a conlang, but I've never gotten around to it

Doina, I did some research and “light language” could be considered a variation of asemic. Words are just pointers to the truth and very dependent upon interpretation. Probably, the clearest identifier for me, is that this language/art/markmaking comes through you as you. It’s representative of your individualized expression. Each of us, should create our own definitions to meet our needs. I hope that makes sense!

Yes I needed to watch this today. I have been trying to figure out the boundaries of my life and wanting to simplify everything a little bit. I have been feeling like my responsibilities (mental and physical) are ever expanding like an ever expanding universe that has no boundary. So after watching your video just now I think I will write up a list of what I believe my life should look like (some yeses, and lots of nos). I think we as humans need a mental trashcan from time-to-time and use it to reset our lives by throwing out old and stale ideas and responsibilities. Thank you for this video! Love the dependence on God idea! I do believe in God and need to figure out how to mentally adopt a calm reassurance based on God's ability to help me in every area of my life. It's also good to explore the hidden motives in our behavior too! It releases us from rediculous epectations. Something I need right now.

Write your question on a piece of paper and tape it to the mirror in your morning bathroom. Read it aloud every day and practicing listening. Your inner guide will direct you with to answer. It may be a unique opportunity that arises, or something you just feel but be willing to listen for the next 10 days.

Humm. I don't know. Maternal instincts aren't just used on humans. As you can see, I expend them on plants, animals, garden and more. Sit down somewhere quiet, ask, "Spirit within, what is mine to do?" and wait. You may hear an instant answer, or it may take weeks, but the answer will arrive!
