Thank you for this video. Peterson mentioned a return customer who defaulted on one property, then purchased another. Thank you for this video. I'm new to The Land Geek channel and program. At the 12-minute mark, Mr. Podolsky asked Mr. Donald how to get started if ALL of Donald's assets were embezzled and a minimum ten years would be required to recover them. Donald's reply was to get back into mobile homes, but how if he has no assets or money? Donald can no longer use his collateral, because somebody else owns it (even if illegally and temporarily). Further, the current lack of capital makes daily survival a struggle, thereby preventing savings. I agree with the idea that a person shouldn't follow the advice of anybody just because they have a large following on social media. Cat videos get a lot of views, too.

When we received an appraisal on my Dads 8 acres of wooded property behind his home, the Appraiser gave an appraisal amount on the home with 2 acres plus the 8 acres behind and then he did an appraisal with the presumption of an easement because the 8 acres was also next to the 5 acres my brother bought from him earlier in life. The amount he gave on the 8 acres was substantially more on the 8 acres than what the realtor gave us as a landlocked property if sold. In other words not worth much unless my brother wants it. In other words my brother would get a great deal and my Dad loses. What is your thoughts? Should my brother pay the higher of the amounts?
